my favorite Knick of alltime is John Starks... do u think there weren't plenty of times he made me wanna rip my hair out & throw a shoe at my television set tho? we all have our favorites, however flawed they may be as players. u have the option to edit any of the draft prospects' names at any time during the season before the draft only... after the draft is held their names become permanent & u can no longer change them...
also u can change the height of the prospect & positions they play at any time before or after the draft, but u can never edit their weight (u can do the same for veterans too). so basically if a guy is listed as a 6'11" 260 lb. C, u can change his info to match whatever name u want & change his position to PF or whatever else before the draft is held, but he's still gonna be 260 lbs... so in order to get the weight close to what u want it to be u have to choose a guy who already weighs around the same as the player ur changing him to... for example, i wanted to change 1 of the prospects to become Brandon Jennings... so at the beginning of the season, i chose a prospect who weighed around 170 lbs. from the list of PG prospects & changed his name & height to match... i usually try & look for guys who sorta resemble them in the pics also... u can also change their body type to slim, normal or big also but it doesn't have any effect on the weight that's listed in their profile... i figured this out when i changed a PF prospect into a PG & ended up w/a 6'2" 250 lb PG prospect that looked skinny, so i had to do it over again using a different prospect. too bad there isn't a way to upload the list of prospects or else i woulda made my guys available to u bros & saved u the trouble... i have the 2010 rookie class already made up too. yep, u can... i pumped up the top lottery talent & they all got taken in the top 10 as it turns out... Jennings went #1 overall to the Nets & i was able to pick up Derozan #4 & Mullens #5, then traded for WAS's #8 pick Thabeet during training camp.

i have a good shot at landing the #1 overall pick in the draft this year cuz i swiped the pick from the league worst Nets for a couple 1st round picks i accumulated in other deals & 2 future 2nd round picks... hoping to land Rubio to be my franchise PG of the future after Jamal's contract runs out.

23-7 and the best record in the league. two 10 game winning streak so we are straight ripping. my sophomore received player of the month honors and leading the mvp voting. killed the second best team which is portland by 20 points. mayo is an animal avg. 19ppg and 7 apg. great robin for my batman.

are you guys talking about 2k9? Also, can't you just create your own players as opposed to editing existing players? I'm planning on getting the 2k9 probably next month.
