I see I got a mention again in that last argument about Euro players? LOL Should I feed more fuel to the fire. I was thinking of this. Are Dirk and Gasol and Peja getitng that good or is the NBA getting that bad talent-wise? I mean just looking at th numbers these guys put up in Europe, where the competition is not as 'good' and they never put up numbers like they do in the NBA. Ok, so they play 48 in the NBA and 40 in FIBA games, but in those games they usually go 36-38 min per, what do they do here, nearly 40 per? So how come they put up better numbers here? Like LAmpje, if he does good this year, here's a kid that was not even on the A team but the junior team last year. So if he got time with the Knicks and did well, what does that say about the talent level? Oh well, hopefully the Olympic team will go and kick some ass in the qualifiers, cause we just got handed our butts at the Pan-AM games, did not even medal again.

One more thing: Ice I rarely ever posted on that weak site, All city sports. And I don't remember talking about dirk.. Go ahead and pull it, if it exists.. but you still are missing the point... Liking Lampes game and dogging the euro game is not what you call hypociritcal... The reason why I like him is because he has a good mix, I like his skill set but he also doesn't seem to play soft..... You are taking everything I said and are applying it to all euro players. Next the crux of my argument with Ralphy boy was the fiba rules and style of play....

You are going in circles and still can't catch your tail....

Now I see why you are always mixed up!!!

I think it is a combo of both... euros getting better, although I think the majority is still hype you will get your wave of good to solid players but the NBA is weaker, a lot of HS players and college kids are great athletes but not really good skilled ball players, the euros may be better and ready to contribute quicker but down the road some of these american kids may be better once they learn, but a lot of teams need immediate help, that is a reason why the euro players are comming over in droves...

Flyingvee, I don't think there is any doubt, it is a combination of early entry in the NBA and how it has weakened the draft cumulatively over the years. Thank God for Stern it has somewhat balanced out with the emergence of more qualified European players. If not for that, with all the current teams, dilution of product would be a much bigger problem in today's NBA.

I admit to the conversation on the knicks making the playoffs two years ago when camby was here, but last year, we didn't have that conversation, although I did root for them to make the playoffs knowing that the knicks had a very slim chance, everyone except playa realized that Ice..

I don't see where the problem is here man.....

Yea, I am guilty of that but I never called dirk a bum, soft yes, and not a top 5 player, yes,but bum..no..
