Isles has a role to play on this site. I almost never agree with him, but he does provoke debate. Its good to have a guy like Isles in the dog days of summer.
It is never & i repeat NEVER... good to have an Islander fan around!!!! These people should be smacked in the mouth the minute they put that ridiculous jersey w/the Gordon's Fisherman on it

Noo... I like Islanders. When you team sucks you always can think about them and get comfot... they suck even more...
And I like Isles... he almoust lost Isiah and need some fresh replacement. Walsh, D'Antony, Galo, Duhon... Isles is still undesided... and he is keeping all options open... Somebody will suck at the end anyway.

Islesfan, if the Knicks sucks next year, D' Antoni was a horrible signing, and Duhon was worse than Mardy Collins, will that make you happy? Everyone was wrong, and you were right. How will that make you feel?
I just think you should relax and just enjoy the summer. Just accept the fact that Donnie Walsh and D'Antoni is here for the year, and all your complaints about them is useless. You could after by all-star break, say you were right and go around saying "I told you so." But until then, just relax, check out some Alba's picture, and go enjoy your summer instead of being angry and bitter.

I want to apologize to Martin/Andrew for my post above, I am just sick and tired of coming on here every day and reading the same stuff from Isles, it gets old and annoying after a while.
I tend to agree with you though. Its like watching How The Grinch Stole Christmas over and over again, but never seeing the part where grinch brings backs the gifts and carves the roast beast. Seriously, what is wrong with having a little bit of hope for the new season. Nobody is proclaiming this to be 'the year' but maybe a new team president, top coach, point guard and an italian draft pick might show a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. I am excited for next season. Kind of tired of people pissing on my parade.
