When some Knick fans talk about Lebron they sound like pre-teen girls talking about the Jonas Brothers. I wish some of us would just take a step back and realize how much we've put this guy on a pedestal.

Fish is obsessed with Lebron even though no one making the cap space argument is. Just let it slide.
thanks for your contribution. The article was about Lebron and the Knicks.

And you posted it for the reason I listed
that I am obsessed with Lebron? Your incorrect Bonn. However there is a small, but highly vocal group of people here that want to build this team around the opportunity to sign this guy. This article was apro pos to several of those recent discussions.

Its curious that you felt the need to interject that, especially when you will notice I have posted very little on the discussion I started.
Who?

It's such a small group it's nonexistent. But Fish needs a windmill to fight.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

I think I'm the one to make the big pitch for LeBron and tried to spread the idea around several months ago. I gave it up because the guys name is taboo around here and the funny thing about it is, it's for the wrong reason's. The first reason being that 'it's taboo'.

Go figure that one out on a Knicks board.
I'll never trust this' team again.

well he is 1 of the 2 best players in the NBA right now... i sorta think he deserves to be put on a pedestal personally... i don't think anyone who's been focusing on cap space has put all their eggs into the Lebron basket tho, yet you guys who don't think cap space is all that important seem to be stressing on that point... not sure why.

Yes. The anti-cap space crowd seems to think it's LeBron or bust, when in reality others have stated that will be happy with any combination of 10 or so star free agents who will be available between 2010 and 2012.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

it's completely feasible that we can land 2 bigname FA's successively those 2 seasons if we attain the cap flexibility in 2010 that Walsh is aiming for... maybe that's why he seems to think it's that important... seriously it's right there for us if we make the right moves now & not stick ourselves w/these ridiculously bad contracts.
