Speculation of a trade involving Miami, however, was dependent on the Timberwolves' using the No. 3 pick to take Kevin Love instead of Mayo.

Walsh needs to throw a huge wrench & a big F U to Riles & the Clippers by trading up to #3

I'd trade #6 to the Nets for #10 and 21.
Trade Lee for Sergio and #13.
Buy #26

Randolph or Alexander at #10
Augustin at #13
Hickson at #21
CDR at #26
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

ESPN is reporting that the Sonics will trade the No. 4 pick in the draft to the Clippers in exchange for L.A.'s No. 7 pick and a protected 2009 first-round pick if things go as expected in the Top 3 picks of the draft.
Ric Bucher is reporting that the Clippers want to assure themselves of getting Eric Gordon with the fourth pick. However, this deal will not go through if the Timberwolves pass on O.J. Mayo and he's available at No. 4

ERIC GORDON??? wow, these GM's are having a lotta fun lying to these beatwriters & driving all us fans insane apparently.

Notice of all the Top talent in the draft he's been the one least talked about.

nah man, we need to nab a star potential guy... if we can't then it makes sense to use the pick to trade down in order to unload a contract... i don't wanna give up position just to get another pick... we can buy an extra one if we wanna do that.

(1) Bayless slip to us at #6. He's much better than Russell Westbrook, it's not even close. I can't even believe that's even a discussion around here. I know he's going to the Clippers now so I shouldn't get my hopes up.....

Completely beat me to it. My same thoughts exactly...and with the way things are shaping up, this looks like a distinct possibility. Westbrook's offensive game is a real question mark to me, and as I've stated earlier I've seen plenty of Westbrook both, on tv and in person. Not a huge fan. If what you laid out transpires, I will have a confortable nights sleep.

I love Westbrook's d and I love Bayless's outside shot. We need a guard who has both.
