How do you know we'll get Mayo at 5? Or are you just assuming that on draft night, when it comes to pick 5 and if Mayo hasn't been drafted that we pull the trigger on that trade?

Whoever it is at 5- Mayo, Bayless or Love, I think one of those 3 combined with Lee is stronger than one of those 3 plus Alexander, Westbrook, Gordon, Randolph, Arthur etc. That's just my opinion, but its why I would try to do that deal as just Malik+6 for Cardinal+5 (Its like giving them $7 mil in cash to move up in the draft). IMO, I think we are hoping to get Mayo (or possibly Bayless) and that's why we would be looking to move ahead of 6. There's a fair chance that one of Mayo, Bayless or Love would be there at 6...but I'd place that at about 25% or less.

Hey man, Grizzlies got Marc Gasol, the 28th pick and a future first from one of the NBA's top teams for years to come - the Lakers - along with Kwame and Crittenton!! That wasn't a bad deal after all!

Well if this happens there is no reason not to draft Randolph...... well the only valid one would be because we drafted Love.
