edited my last post before u replied, just in case u didn't see.
& as for flying in the face of D'Antoni's plan, it's not a question of IF for me, it's a question of WHEN... just like i thought Zach wouldn't be a good fit here when Isiah traded for him i don't think he'll be a good fit for us under Mike D either... it's just how i see things... IMO he belongs on a bottom dwelling team where he can get off his shots & act like he's the man so he can justify earning that horrendous contract to fans that like him & to moronic GM's in the league who think they can milk some kind of positive returns out of him... i don't ever see him being a part of a winning style of basketball & until he's able to prove me wrong on it i don't think that opinion will ever change.
Sometimes the Gods smile on an organization and they get the best player they anyone could hope for: he's through the roof talented, great teammate, and lives and breathes to win. But in most cases and unfortunately more commonly recently very few of these players exist so sometimes you have to put up with the occasional prima donna and/or the guy that makes you cringe when you think about how much your paying him. But thats the way of the business nowadays. And D'Antoni isn't getting paid his outrageously expensive salary to work only with superstars he's getting paid his salary because they think he can make a full chicken dinner out of this chicken****.
I'm not trying to change your mind (I think Jesus walking into my local mall is more likely to happen) but just giving a different perspective. Like I've always said. Eventually this thing will play out and we'll see one of three options, Zach shipped out, Zach struggling in D'Antoni' system, or Zach becoming improved in D'Antoni' system.
btw: Stop being so damn sensitive its not meant to be personal. But I admit sometimes its difficult not to poke fun at you because your so one-sided about this and I am to but I can take some ribbing about it.
