KMart was a key member of back to back Finals teams... for his career he's a 15 & 7 player who plays on both ends of the floor... if u don't think he was ever any good, i have no idea why u think Zach is.

careerwise Zach is a 16 & 8 player doesn't play D w/tons of baggage... the closest he's ever gotten to even sniffing the Finals is as a minor role player on a 50 win POR team that got eliminated in the 1st round... he's not the 20 & 10 dream guy you fantasize about so please enough w/that whole BS talk already... that's almost like saying Curry's a 19 & 7 guy cuz of the career best season he had 2 years ago.

they're not that far off in comparison... even at nowhere near the player he used to be i'd still rather have KMart over Zach... that should tell u how much i think Zach is a poisonous presence on this roster.

Whatever you would probably take Mike Sweetney because after all he's a "high character guy" LOL. So im not counting on you to give an unbiased assessment. And the numbers with which you manipulate is that early in Zach's career when his minutes were low playing behind Rasheed Wallace he averaged under 20 mins a game. But when averaging over 30 minutes a game his numbers were around 19/9. But nice try on the numbers front. This is a foolish argument KMart is no longer a good player maybe a best a 6 man possibly a starter alongside a beast of a center: he's injury prone, never developed any kind of offensive game, and his defense consists of basically just trying to block shots which if u don't know isn't always stellar defense.

yeah, that's another bit of genius on your part... go ahead & ask Bip or anyone else from back on the MSG forums what my feelings were on Sweetney when he was drafted.

as for the 19/9 argument of yours, as soon as you point out to me how successful Zach's teams were when he was putting up those #'s i'll consider some of your counterpoints.

The "frachise player" argument is stale. The Franchise Player is dead in the NBA and with the exception of maybe 3 guys in the whole league; if your team sucks they will continue to suck whether your a stud or not. And Zach ain't no stud he's just a pretty talented guy whose capable of putting up some good numbers. It's real simple if he flies in the face D'Antoni's game plan then he should be on the first flight out of NY but if he approaches this season with a willingness to reform his game then I think he could be a valuable asset like any legit low-post scorer and very good rebounder.

edited my last post before u replied, just in case u didn't see.

& as for flying in the face of D'Antoni's plan, it's not a question of IF for me, it's a question of WHEN... just like i thought Zach wouldn't be a good fit here when Isiah traded for him i don't think he'll be a good fit for us under Mike D either... it's just how i see things... IMO he belongs on a bottom dwelling team where he can get off his shots & act like he's the man so he can justify earning that horrendous contract to fans that like him & to moronic GM's in the league who think they can milk some kind of positive returns out of him... i don't ever see him being a part of a winning style of basketball & until he's able to prove me wrong on it i don't think that opinion will ever change.

Sometimes the Gods smile on an organization and they get the best player they anyone could hope for: he's through the roof talented, great teammate, and lives and breathes to win. But in most cases and unfortunately more commonly recently very few of these players exist so sometimes you have to put up with the occasional prima donna and/or the guy that makes you cringe when you think about how much your paying him. But thats the way of the business nowadays. And D'Antoni isn't getting paid his outrageously expensive salary to work only with superstars he's getting paid his salary because they think he can make a full chicken dinner out of this chicken****.

I'm not trying to change your mind (I think Jesus walking into my local mall is more likely to happen) but just giving a different perspective. Like I've always said. Eventually this thing will play out and we'll see one of three options, Zach shipped out, Zach struggling in D'Antoni' system, or Zach becoming improved in D'Antoni' system.

btw: Stop being so damn sensitive its not meant to be personal. But I admit sometimes its difficult not to poke fun at you because your so one-sided about this and I am to but I can take some ribbing about it.

& i got no problems going back & forth w/some ribbin', just find it curious you point to my sensitivity when you're gonna call me out on classless comments you think i make... just realize i'm gonna come back at ya w/whatever u throw at me, that's all.

I got the solution to all our arguments right here.

3 team trade between NY,Philly & Denver

NY trades #6 & Zack Randolph
Philly trades Reggie Evens, #16 & 10mil TE or a future 2010 draft pick
Denver trades Kenyon Martin

NY rec Reggie Evens, #16, & 10mil TE or a future 2010 draft pick.
Philly rec #6 pick & Kenyon Martin
Denver rec Zack Randolph

Philly can draft Kevin Love or Brock Lopez to go along with Dalembert & Kmart.

We can then package #16 & Curry For Hinrich & maybe there 2nd rder or future 2nd rder.
or #16 & Curry for Jason Collins & Mike Conley Jr.

i really want the Z-Ro/6th pick for Evans/Green/16th pick to happen

we get rid of Z-Ro meaning the chances of Walsh re-signing Lee has increased by a lot

Evans is a tough defensive player ... something this team doesn't have, he's also a good rebounder

Green .. meh who cares about him, rather him than Marbury

and with the 16th pick the Knicks can draft Chase Budinger
some Knick fans accept mediocrity as excellence .... I don't!
