It was put there to protect a shoulder bruise. He then had a good shooting week and decided it was a good luck charm so he has purposely continued to put it on before games (such as Rip Hamilton with the whole mask deal).

Unfortunately for us nothing can cure Jamal's terrible shooting percentages not even superstition. Perhaps some day a new coach can forbid him to jack those 18-25 foot shots with regularity and actually drive to the rim more than once a game.

Sadly he's actually one of our better guards. He had an okay offensive game until he jacked that 3 when it was 98-91. He was terrible on defense and a flat out bonehead for fouling Horford with .1 on the clock in the third. Some bad passes too.

Overall crappy game.

Maybe if Effries didn't open up 1-7, QBrick 3-10, and Crawful 3-9 before finally hitting some shots...it wouldn't matter.

This whole team is pretty sad when you think about it. Even the bright spots aren't all that special anymore.

I can't believe I actually picked the Knicks to win. I thought I could finish with a better gamepicker record than islesfan, but there's pretty much no chances of that now.

We hovered at 5th nearly all year round. We flirted with 4th and 6th at times.

It's not like we were in first place and those few wins (4 in 21 games actually) dropped us to 10th. We were never a threat for the top 2 and barely a threat for 3rd at any given time.

We were all season long and continue to flirt with the 4th, 5th, and 6th worst record in the NBA.

Oh and, thank god there's only 2 games left. I can't help but watch and I can't wait until this grueling waste of a season is over with and we begin to see Walsh hopefully make the right changes to the team.

LOL no kidding. I've felt ever since he got embarrassed in court that he's been a zombie out to make sure everyone else suffers as he did. I don't think it's a coincidence that after Marbury gabbed in court sinking any chance Isiah had at an acquittal that Isiah turned around and tried to destroy Marbury thus ending up destroying the season.

Thanks, Isiah, we'll never forget you, unfortunately.

I still say his last task as coach of the team he should start and play for 48 minutes:

C-Jerome James
F-Malik Rose
F-Jared Jeffries
G-Fred Jones
G-Mardy Collins.

Why? So I can have something to laugh at....
