i am laughing so hard right now, someone walked past my office and looked in and gave me a look like, 'hey, youre the only one in here, why are you laughing to yourself'....PRICELESS.

btw - speaking of fantastic four, and i say this with mush regret, i was skiing in vancouver this past wknd with this girl i know out there and she was an extra in F4 and told me what a bi*!ch alba was. i nearly threw this broad off the chairlift....but, cooler heads prevaled and i instead settled to rest my ashtray on her porterhouse.

there should be room on the other cheek for the open can of beer.

yo, don't believe these guys about Luger's man... ur gonna end up paying out an arm & a leg for a cut a meat that's really not all that good unless ur a fan of charcoal burnt steaks... hell, i can get a better tasting steak at Outback... NY steakhouses are highly overrated, & i've tried them all... go to Carmen's, try their steak & get some bomb ass Italian food while you're at it.

btw, since i've moved out here to LA i gotta say NY burgers can't touch Tommy's & In N' Out... get that sheit covered in chilly & cheese & have those spicy ass Mexican peppers on the side... holy crap, my mouth's watering right now... gonna go get me one right now.

In-N-Out is the best burger anywhere.

Damn them for not franchising and ignoring the east coast.

They need to bring IN and Out and Fatburger over here and not a moment too soon. Look at all the hysteria Five Guys Caused when it opened up over here. NYC is burger crazy right now

In-N-Out is referenced to in songs, series, movies and even columns. Never realized it wasn't a nationwide franchise.

Is Fry's west coast as well? Awesome electronics shop.

I'm pissed. I was out in Cali for a few days with my girlfriend at her Uncles and her uncle promised us he'd take us to In-N-Out Burger before we left. One day passed, two days passed, 3 days passed, so on and so forth. Needless to say, I left missing out on In-N-Out burger.

DAMNIT!

So knicksbabyyeah should come to NY, eat at all these restaurants, gain 35 pounds, then go home.

KBY, definitely do not go to Olive Garden, it's a national chain restaurant. Nothing special there. Actually, I wasn't even aware of one being in Manhattan, but who knows.

There's a big one in Times Square- but do NOT go there! There are literally 1000 better Italian places in Manhattan

You gotta come out to Jersey! We got Taco Bells and Quiznos all over the place. Visit Andrew Bynum's High School. The Statue of Liberty, and Giants stadium. In that order. See the streets of Hoboken and walk the streets at night like the Misfits. Discover what makes Zach Braff so.. well despite him... visit where The Boss used to live, catch a show at the PNC Arts Center, take a ride down the shore to red bank, AC, and Cape May.

In Manhattan, you gotta see Central Park. Sheeps Meadow. Strawberry Fields. Go stand in front of the Dakota where Lennon was killed. Take a trip to Riverside Park to catch a UK basketball game... we'll organize one just for you... and then zip over to the Queens Museum and see the great exhibits on NYC's history

I do disagree with TMS about Peter Luger, but to each his own. The outside of steak is meant to be fairly crispy, and yes at times Peter Luger does not put out their best stuff, but generally they do, and I findnd it better than the rest of what I've tried. Near me Ottomenelli Grill provides my steak fix (16 ounce NY Strip) for less than $16 with smashed potatoes and mixed greens sauteed in butter....yummmm

I believe In-N-Out Burger is planning to open one in NYC this year, from what I hear.

Also, KBY, Barcade is a bar first, arcade second. It's a hangout for people in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, and has a pretty substantial beer selection on tap, especially micro-breweries, I believe. The ambiance is very dark and raw. Not really a place to sit and have a drink as much as a singles spot, or a place to drink with friends and play old school arcade games.

You can get a good steak at Del Friscos, in the heart of the city without the sacrifice of hanging with old world waiters you find at Lugers and Smiths'...I much rather hang out with hot babes that are bartenders and waitresses than having some old dude with attitude serving me...And at Lugers, you better bring cash...Del Friscos is a scene as well...Who needs old world ambiance to consume a good steak...If you are hanging with dudes looking for a good steak then Lugers, Sparks and Smith's...You want to hang with good looking women and good steak, Del Friscos...
