yao ming is awesome. great player and great for the sport. the dude is followed by the media unlike any other player in the league. he generates $$$$ for the league and each team when they play on the road.

i like how that team looks with him being the main focus.

i didn't catch the game, but from highlights and the box score it looks like he played with some attitude out there too, always good to see.

nate's usually good for one pwnage of yao per season, though

Yao is without a doubt a franchise player in every sense of the word... he's good for the game, good for his franchise, & great for his teammates.

Yao is awesome. He's pretty much unstoppable. They need much better shooters though if they're ever going to go far in the playoffs.

If you look at his body from when he first arrived in the league he's really committed himself to being a great player. He's overcome so many of his flaws since coming here.

Was it sold out tonight?

It was extremely full. Lots of Asian people there too see Yao Ming. He was getting huge cheers on every basket. To be honest, I was there to see Yao too. Amazing player.

Didn't some one claim Yao was not a franchise player the other day?

BTW, is this the shortest game thread ever?

Yao is too unselfish at times and they don't look to get the ball to him nearly enough.

it was weird, at the beginning of the game when it was like 10-0, Houston had fed the post 4 or 5 straight time. And Yao scored or it led to a scoring opportunity. And then the Rockets guards started jacking shots without looking for their big guy.
