maybe philly since dalembert requires zero touches.
It's not just big men who need touches. Zach would ruin Iggy's game. Zach needs to go to a team where all four other starters require no touches--a team that doesn't exist. No one else wanted him last off-season. No one wants him now. Our only options are to buy him out or take back something awful in a trade. The same applies to just about everyone not on a rookie contract on the roster. The next GM is gonna have to do a lot of addition by subtraction (addition by buyouts and waiving).

What about Dallas? They need a low post guy that can still shoot it and board. That team hasn't made a trade in a while....they could use another dimension come playoff time.

Edit: forget that they have some ugly contracts over there.....and devin harris is the only real desireable.

DAL needs another offensive PF like the Knicks need another Isiah Thomas.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

If we haven't bought out Marbury yet you can be sure we aren't buying out Zach. ALl we can do is try to build ourselves up to 38 win seasons or take on more bad contracts to get rid of him.

Face it, this team is just screwed for years to come. Mediocrity will be considered a victory. Payroll flexibility and high draft picks will be the pipe dreams they've always been. Stuck in no-man's land with fragile minded, unlikable players is our destiny.

But that's the high side of the equation. It still remains to be seen if we can get out of the bottomless sink hole we're in now.

1. You slide Lee over to Center, and you start Zach. Since defense is mostly a defensive position, there isn't much reason why we would be hurt by starting Lee instead of Curry. There aren't many low post centers in the league anyway, and a few actually play outside, which lee would be better at guarding. And Lee's help defense is much better than Curry's anyway.
2. You trade Curry. Games like last night, hopefully help his trade value.
3. Hopefully, you draft a project bigman who will replace either Lee or Zach in a few years. By the time he has developed Zach's contract won't have that much time on it. Besides, you need players to play in front of the project for a little while in order to shield him from criticism. If you draft a pg, then you get you hands on a young big who can block shots, and work on him to develop other aspects of his game. In the meantime, you might actually play Jerome James a little.
