Look- it doesn't have to be Seattle or someone else. But to say that a GM in the league wouldn't trade 2 bit players for Curry is asinine. No GM s(except for the very worst) are going to acquire Eddy Curry with the intention of being a franchise player. But every GM is willing to gamble on size if the cost is right and every GM is more tolerant of making mistakes on size. It has happened time and time again in the NBA and the examples run from Koncack to Foyle to James with numerous McIlVaine's and Browns and Benjiamins strewn in between. There is an NBA role for Curry- it's as a matchup scorer against teams that don't have size and guess what, teams in the league can use that b/c its rare to have quality size in this league.
exactly... Curry for any expiring & a late 1st rounder is more than reasonable... if u can unload him & Zach, we're in great position to be under the cap in 2 years... of course, Isiah would never do it cuz he's a moron who never learns from his past mistakes, but it's a better option than continuing along on the path we're currently on... this mess is never gonna right itself until we get a hold on this cap situation & stop taking on albatross contracts unless it's for a true franchise calibre talent.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
