I'm tellin ya's I've got the answer to how to view the season. Maybe it's because I'm awesome or maybe it's because a blind squirrel finds a nut. Regardless...

If you think it will take 41-41 to make the playoffs then you see that the team must go 36-30 to get there.

If you think it'll take 40 wins, then 35-31. Etc.

Now, you take that number, NOW you look at what they've accomplished so far (winning 5 of 16 games) and ask yourself: Can my team REALLY go 36-30 to close the season?

ehhh....

See I look at the season completely different than you. I look at it like this

being reserved i assume for the return of the big game.

Holy crizzap, no lie that is exactly what the smiley face was for. I was waiting for someone to ask so I could reveal the big joke. Nice catch!!! By the way, thanks for stepping on the big joke
I just hope that people will like me

I just had to...How about this team showing some grit on a back to back night...5th game in their in 7 nights...8th game in 12 night...Some here was bashing the Knicks last week for winning against a team that played its 4th game in 5 nights...

Take it back right now!!!!

Go Knicks...

Isiah Thomas is surprisingly dumb when it comes to coaching. anyway the reason the Knicks won tonight is because Isiah Thomas accidentally put defensive players into the game when he needed to. Unfortunately this isn't something that's going to happen very often.

He also accidently drafted and signed defensive players as well. You forgot that part - Jeffries, Balkman, Jones- were basically hold outs from the original defense oriented roster- that Isiah couldn't move -no matter how hard he tried. Then of course he bumped his head tonight and put them all in accidently.

He acquired them but he usually doesn't play them, which is why the Knicks usually lose.

lol at bumping this thread....

as if winning 4 of 5 versus teams in precarious positions, while being 15 games under .500, and needing to play at a win 3 out of every 5 games pace to have any chance at the playoffs... IS SOMETHING to believe in.

LOL... LOL!!!! did I say LOL?

pfffft.........

Wins are nice. Pretending they're some huge statement of a monumental turnaround in a season that's already been done for some time? DISTURBING.

You know what? You're full of it.

You've constantly attacked people for being negative on here then one day you act like you're part of the "Yeah, we're not good" party? Gimme a break... I'm not buying it.....and there's no reason for anyone to believe you and your shtick.

Get off my case and go back to pretending Isiah and his team is awesome.

I should be positive...because............?

What does offering videos on the Knicks for hundreds of overseas fans have to do with my opinion on the team?

Interesting how winning at the last second from team with old man, half-legged star and bunch of scrabs can make anybody optimistic?

Old enough to realize you're full of it trying to play the pessimist side of things and attempting to joke about an optimistic stance - when you in fact - are such an optimist that it has driven you to be rude and obnoxious to other posters.

You're the only who should be questioned for age. You're the one that needs to understand what a player running the point is. I don't care if Crawford starts at Center - he is still the primary ball handler - he is the man who runs the point for the majority of our games - and has done so for years now.

If you can't understand that I can't help you. He does not have to START at the 1 POSITION in order to actually be the PG. Yet, according to you, he does, and even if he plays exactly the way he has played for years now, until he's officially announced as starting at the 1, he's not a PG.

*rolls eyes*

I wonder if you know what a Point Forward is? Probably not...

How many games did we lose that we could have or should have won? Does it matter who the competition is when Boston wins games? As a fan the most important thing is that the team wins games. I don't care if our opponent is from Sacred Heart Girls Basketball, I want to see the team play better and win.

With so much season left I'm glad that there's something to watch again. It's not just about this season and it was NEVER about this season. If you have a team like Boston then it's all about THIS season, cuz they have a chance to win a title. When you're building a team and trying to get to the point of title contention you want to see improvement and growth and see where you need to improve. So complete disaster seasons don't help you evaluate your team, except to maybe want to blow it up.

With the team playing better we've been able to see that Nate is developing into a very nice player. The guy has always been a bit of a mystery, but as he's maturing his game is getting better. There's reason for hope and with every win it just shows that this team could've been better as most of us had predicted, if Isiah had done things right from the start. Too much time was waisted with him clueless as to how to fix things. Still until a season is over we should never completely give up. Yeah it's improbable but that's why they play the games.

I am sure I have been watching, playing and understanding ball longer than you have been alive...You are calling me rude when in fact you have been trying to pull me into discussions about this and I have ignored you...Another poster besides myself thought it was wise to inform you that you don't understand what you are talking about and yet you still can't seem to heed the message...I have no interest in continuing this because you simply don't make sense...So do us both a favor and move on before you lose all credibility and respect that everyone is afforded when they first log into this forum...You are rapidly approaching that...
