Well, thank god Marbury had the good sense to have those shoulder spasms. Otherwise the Knicks may well have lost this game.

The game didn't turn because Steph went out. He was one of the best we had out there. It was simply a unit out there that played hard and Jamal woke up from his slumber. We must get major contributions from Jamal and also Q. Everynight we've been getting killed at those positions when we don't get scoring from those 2.

Lee also doesn't look as explosive as he was. Someone keeps mentioning that he may not be 100% and there seems to be something to that.
The team looked dead when Marbury was out there. As a matter of fact when Marbury was in the game it looked like we were going to lose by 25 points. Jamal was not even shooting when Marbury was out there. What a shock that Marbury neck hurts after missing those 3 free throws.

Kenny Smith speaks the truth... the confidence level isn't there, and there is a lot of finger pointing... I'll say the Knicks don't win if Marbury was sitting on the bench...

Don't get me wrong, I think Marbury is a good individual player.. but the way he affects his teammates is very telling - and brings to light all those quotes we have heard from his former teammates
David f'n Lee for President!!

If the Knicks want to keep winning, they need to play Fred Jones more.

all we need is 11 more Fred Joneses on this team & we're championship bound

I think you are right. But not the injury excuse people keep making for him. He looks like he didn't stay in shape during the off-season. Maybe he exercised less because he was recovering from the injury, but who knows?

However, is that an excuse?

Balkman was hurt at the end of last season and the beginning of this season. He has picked up his play.

Marbury had to shut it down last season. Should we make excuses for him? I haven't seen any made.

Q had back surgery. Are we making excuses for him?

Crawford had a stress fracture, are we making excuses for him?

Randiolph had to shut it down last season, are we making excuses for him?

Collins just had knee surgery, are we making excuses for him?

Jeffries sprained his knee in training camp, are we making excuses for him?

***

Only King likes David lee more than I do. I've been his biggest proponent since the day he was drafted. But when Lee plays bad, he should be criticized like everyone else. I am tired of hearing excuses for his pitiful defense or his lack of offense. Or in this case, Lee not producing on the boards and put-backs as we are accustomed to.

Fair is fair.

VIDEO OF THE GAME...after I have a little insight into what I saw.

I have to admit I stared at this game like a quadrapalegic for 46 minutes. No flinching regardless of

what either team did.

Then, those final two minutes, they played hard and they made the plays to win.

Keys to the win?

Well, I'll take a stab.

Crawful 3 Quarters turned into ClutchFord 1 Quarter.
Curry's fat ass yanked time and again and kept on the bench when it counted most.
Bench guys, despite poor scoring, scrapped and clawed their way to meaningful plays you could never

look up in a boxscore.
GodBury sat down after he hurt his neck on a pick........
Finally, I gotta say it, the Bucks just plain fell apart as the game went on - looking more and more tired and disinterested and taking bad shots. Hey, their fault, not ours though.

Anyways...............as always promised whenever I can (Dont know if I will be around for the PHOENIX GAME on Sunday).....

i agree with nixluva in that steph's departure wasn't the reason for the turnaround. what happened is that jamal got hot. same story as last year and the year before. if he gets hot, we go to him every play...and every play, he basically took a shot. he hit alot of them tonight so the knicks came back and won. there wasn't this great teamwork displayed on the offense or anything, it was jamal hitting jumpers.

marbury was on the court during the utah win, the chicago win, and the denver win. so i don't think it had to do with his departure.

with that said, what was krystowiak doing not calling a timeout at the end? bucks should've been up 20+ but they kept making stupid mistakes.

knicks will win these close games at the garden this year.

The team played a bad game, but NEVER GAVE UP!!! Can we give them some damn credit for once? A win is a win and yet some of you are only looking for style points. This team has some issues right now, but overall theyv'e just gone 3-1 and they need to keep fighting until they get their game right.

It's clear that guys aren't playing as well as we know they can, but that doesn't mean that they can't eventually get it together. As long as they fight like they did tonight and not give up like they did yesterday, that's what I want to see. Some of you are just mad that they won, cuz it rains on your hate parade. Don't try denying it either.

Shut your trap and go back to the cave you came out of after hiding for a day.

Papabear Says

Hey Nixlover don't pay any attention to Trueblue he live only to see the Knicks loose. Well they won and it wasn't pretty and they didn't give up. Zeke needs to give up the idea that Curry will be a great center. Until he learns to play at both ends of the court and get some rebounds, he will never be the player we thought he could be.

when marbury was in there he looked good for sure... and the team couldn't get within 10 points of the bucks.

All I have to say is run the damn clock out, DO NOT GIVE A CHANCE TO TIE IT UP. We were lucky. So Nate is in the doghouse I wonder what for? Could it be that he left his teammates high and dry oh wait that was Mebury. My bad

I'm glad to hear that Marbury's such a big part of the team's success. Hopefully he continues to play well, gets an extension, and finishes out his career with the Knicks.

That's my point exactly.

Also I don't like this idea that a few of us have put out there, that somehow the Bucks just let us win by making mistakes. The Knicks defensive pressure picked up and that had them playing back on their heels. We made them take tougher contested shots. There's been a few instances of this increased defense that as come and gone recently. When we get it at the right time it's been very effective and helped us win games.
