It isnt about giving him a chance you have him for 4 years at 61 million no one wanted him. Portland is better without him this year. This isnt a experiment it is like herpes you arent getting rid of Z-Bo.

They are actually rebuilding and have a potential if he come back healthy a franchise player. What do the Knicks have to look forward to? Portland is in much better shape than the Knicks and they just traded a 20/10 guy.

Good question no if I wasn't planning on making any other major changes and yes if I was bringing in a outside shooter and point guard.

All I am saying is we could have trade Frye for a guard where the major problems lie. We have no flexibility to trade now and Curry cant play with Zach. All I am asking is have a plan and stick with it. If you give up 2 lottery picks for a guy then bring in another guy that makes you the second option is retarded

Lee's clearly injured. He's worse than he was as a rookie overall. Maybe his ankle is never going to fully heal. What a shame.

Just asking but isn't possible that Lee is going through what Channing went through last season?
Not sure--I guess it depends on what you mean by "what Channing went through last season"

Look Curry isn't a franchise talent we all knew that before but apparently Isiah didn't get the memo until this summer. But should Zach be slammed even though he clearly has some ability and is still playing relatively well in a terrible environment?

Trading basketball players isn't like going into a restaurant and ordering the thing you want on the menu. Teams weren't bending over backwards to give us a quality guard for Frye after the season he had.

He did. His name is Fred Jones. Seriously, Portland was looking to move Zach. The Knicks were looking to move Frye. That's how this trade happened.

Zach Randolph by himself isn't a bad player, but when paired up with a Curry frontcourt and a marbury and crawford backcourt it becomes a problem.

Lets really look at the Randolph trade. We lost all effectiveness of Curry and Lee minutes are down significant. We are about to lose Curry if he doesnt get included in the offense. Randolph took away two strenghts Curry scoring ability and Lee rebounding. He also bring what we didnt need on this team another volume shooter and turnover prone.

lol

Zach Randolph is a very talented player, but the trade was kind of stupid because it ruins cap flexibility in the upcoming years and he doesn't make the knicks that much better because of how the knicks are constructed before he got here. Honestly I don't even remember what I thought about the Zach Randolph trade when it first happened. I think i thought it was just a waste of time because it didn't make the knicks significantly better.

colorfl1, you comment reminded me of something. Why does leadership need to come from the PG position. It is nice, but is it really necessary. KG is a leader from the PF position.

Maybe the problem is Isiah has not brought in a leader....at any position.

Not only that. Isiah has brought in a number of guys who have a reputation for not following.

at least our interns follow.

Papabear Says

Look if Zach did not come here David Lee would have the same problems. He has no jump shot and players are more awear of him . The teams take him more serious. Yes when you pass the ball to Zach he shoots first. Listen that Boston game was lost in the first 12 min of the game. It wasn't defense that did them but they couldnt buy a shot. They were shooting at 16 percent. Not thats bad. When you shoot that bad your confadence goes down. You must ask yourseld how did this happen.
Now I'm a Marbs fan and give him benifit of the doubt but he is so into himself that nothing else matters. Marbs must now be moved in order for this team to grow. Curry was a mistake. Zeke was desperate for a Center. I now believe that is was personel why Allan Houston didn't make this team.No way could he be the worse player. Zeke loves to put his own Mark on a team and look what hes got.

Cosign. Zach is talented no question. But he is a selfish player who shoots a low percentage. He is the ultimate ball stopper who kills any type of ball movement. He runs to the post and literally pushes Curry out of the paint. Lee cant get any minutes. He has truly rendered Lee and Curry ineffective. A decision needs to be made as to who are we going to keep. Curry and Zach just dont work. I would prefer moving Zach. Not sure how much you win with a selfish player like that.

"Man, who knows with this team." Aguirre.
