fans boo their teams when they play like crap... this isn't just NY Knick fans that do this... when u shell out tons of money you expect to see the team play w/effort, something bad teams don't do on a consistent basis.

I think when a player abandons his team because he is being benched he should be applauded and given a parade

The Media used to bait him into making his predictions of success or don't you guys remember that? This Steph stuff is no different. Look Steph is no saint and he's a grown man, responsible for his own actions, but don't act like the NY media doesn't actively create trouble where none exists or stoke the fire a bit with their headlines.

Comparing Steph to Ewing is an insult to our intelligence. The majority of fans loved Ewing and respected him for what he was... even moreso when he was finally off the Knicks. The majority of fans now hate Steph and will hate Steph when he's gone as well. Steph isn't baited into saying dumb things by the media. Steph is just dumb.

I knew you (or someone) would say this.

seriously, how can anyone NOT boo the guy at this point after all the crazy antics, idiotic comments & selfish acts he's perpetrated over the years

You think Stephon's "Good Riddance" back page headline will be larger than Patrick's?

I say the NYPost and Daily News both suspend tabloid formats and go to a full-page format for that day alone. Newspapers will fly off the shelves for framing.

It is time to take out Knicks coverage from Sport page and move it to Jokes and Bizarre stuff page.

Patrick was boo'd by a vocal minority. The media is always out for blood. But the majority of the fans of this team loved the guy.

Marbs is a completely different story, and the treatment of Marbs by the fans is very different. The record might have something to do with this. I have never boo'd a player in my life. But I completely understand when fans boo a guy that just abandoned his team. Should we just go ahead and accept everything these guys do? Do we drop all standards all together?
