Valid points. This is the put up or shut up season. All the prior seasons had some excuse or rational explanation for the results, but this year the team has more depth and experience than it has in the past 4 years. We are 2 deep at every position and our young guns (Balkman, Nate, and Lee) all have some experience under their belt. If IT can get this team into the playoffs and they have a competitive first round, then I am willing to give him another year to pull this thing together. If he cannot make that happen, then it is time for him to go because next summer is going to be an important summer as far as the direction of this team for the next 2-3 years.

I agree this is the put up or shut up season, the fan in me will keep on cheering them Knicks but gambling on flawed players like Crawford,Curry and Marbs to take us back to respectablity is fools gold. Anyways what the hey, the seasons started so GO NY GO NY GO!

this isn't a put up or shut up season. too many factors OFF the court that could keep isiah around regardless of the win/loss record.

now let's say the knicks win 43 games and make the playoffs. even advance a round. how long does that keep isiah around IF the following year, they win 37 games and miss the playoffs? what will the fans think at that point?

we are at the mercy of jim dolan.

What kind of crazy what ifs are these? The season has to lpay out and we have to see how they win 43 and how they win in the playoffs. That play may be convincing enough for fans to believe we have something special here.
