Did he say people of my "ilk"?

what's a ilk?

Bippity's Dictionary:

ilk1 /ɪlk/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ilk] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. moron
–adjective
2. moronic

That was the best translation I can find. There was one that said "not quite as smart as Bippity" but I didn't want to post that because it sounded to pompous.

You probably read that in a dictionary somewhere. Don't believe everything you read. I am telling you what ilk means.

bippity - you need to cut down on the estrogen intake

I have never "discredited" your, or anyone's else's opinion as invalid. If you can't take a high inside fastball every now and then don't get in the batters box.

Why not stand in there and face it? Instead of flinching with some knee-jerk reaction to candid and open dialogue, just stay focused on the strike zone and swing at a pitch going more than 40 mph.

what, you can only play slow pitch?

Estrogen? Or you need to chill out and just understand that I am joking with you, you friggin meathead.

Anyday you want want to discuss opinions I will go toe to toe with you for 700 posts if that is what it takes. I'm pretty sure that after 6000 posts that I am legendary for that. In the offseason while "people of your ilk" are battling back and forth over who the haters are, and how accurate the tabloids are, and how sensational the media is, and how closely you can compare Renaldo Balkman to Oscar Robertson, I find myself bored. So I inject myself in these conversations with a mix of sarcasm, jokeitude and constant hilarity. Don't take it so seriously. Now, when the season starts and we are analyzing things we actually are seeing and not just our "hopes and dreams" than you and I can have some serious debate. At that point I'm sure my estrogen level will be so high that I will need a bra. Until then, trust me I don't take this hater, media and predictions talk any more seriously than I do a quote on politics from PoliticalBury. Don't worry, you'll figure me out at post number 10,000

Come on Bip, you know MSG has long gotten rid of that masterpiece and replaced it with more MSG propaganda.

I'm pretty sure that Nixluva saved a copy of it on his computer after he was told to delete it from MSG. I'm sure he was just following orders, but noone really wanted to delete that thing.

GREENBURGH, N.Y., Oct. 21 — A week after starting his improbable comeback, and one day after officially aborting it, Allan Houston visited the Knicks’ training facility Sunday to explain his departure from the team.

“When I went into camp, the intensity was kind of a shock to my body,” said Houston, a 36-year-old guard who retired in 2005 with chronic knee pain. “I didn’t have time to really recover from that.”

Houston told reporters he would not rule out a late-season return to basketball (or even a coaching position), but he emphasized he was letting the future shape itself.

“I may get to a point in a month where I have so many things going on with my foundation, my Web site,” said Houston, referring to allanhouston.com. “Right now, I know that my body feels great, I’m healthy and I’m going to stay in shape.”

Knicks Coach Isiah Thomas was asked if he thought Houston could be a useful addition to a team later this season.

“Anytime you can shoot the ball like he can shoot it, he’s an asset,” Thomas said.
