BlueSeats - we is doomed

Abandon ship!

Will this be your standard response to all posts regarding Isiah's shortcomings?

Actually, I'm working on some new material with Chris Rock and Dave Chapelle

The operative word is "originality"

Really? And you were doing so well with "sheesh".

Just make sure you run it past Dolan first, you know he doesn't like surprises.

Earl, you are this close to becoming a hatter. I can feel it. Just abandon ship already.

Lee's always well spoken. Suckbury should take a cue.

On the subject of overhauling. I know I've been pretty brutal on this roster, but in reality, if we can only make a few minor adjustments, then we'd have a decent future to look foreward to. This is all it would take:

Isiah Gone!
Dolan Gone!
Suckbury Gone!
Curry Gone!
Zach Gone!
Jerome Gone!
Nate Gone!
Houston Gone!
Jared Gone!

That's all it would take. Just a few little moves and we'd be set. That's not asking for much is it? We can do this.

love lee but i dont think a white guy on isiah's team is going to be captain anytime soon. lol.

regardless.......you pretty much turned over the whole knicks roster in your post. i am guessing you want othella harrington and moochie norris back.

'What would make you think that'?!!! I hated those MF's. You don't think we can have better players? Your not one of those Knick lovers, are you? The lovers lie to themselves every chance they get.
everyone hates the knicks. the whole basketball world would love to see the knicks do bad. whether it was zeke making the trades or whoever else, they'd try to make very unfair trades or no trades with the knicks. maybe you are forgetting with almost every deal he was buying first round picks (except of course the stupid 2 first round picks giveaway for curry).......and drafting is his ace card.

ON Isiah's drafting as his ace card: Ariza's gone. Channing's gone. Nate's an idot. David is great, but how's his recovery? Renaldo Balkman is great, but what's with this injury? Mardy Collins showed some promise with limited time, but what's with the secret surgery and how's his recovery? Wilson Chandler hasn't even stepped foot on an official NBA game court yet. I'm still wondering where the gems are at and the impact they have made on this team?

Stoudamire, Camby & McGrady made thier marks 'somewhere else' and they haven't really been any kind of a factor in going to the finals, let alone the playoffs. The only rings that Isiah has factored in, in all of this is his own two, when he played with Detroit.

channing frye has turned into zach randolph and fred jones' defense. nate may be an idiot, but i am fine with a 5'7 guy who can block a 7'6 center. slow learner for sure......but he'll get there.

ariza was a LB engineered (albeit IT agreed) trade a la "delusional" remember?

you doubting david lee's recovery is more than enough proof i need to see that you are a hater through and through. and i aint just talking about the knicks. :)

The Mad Hatter

code - you would need the entire Iraqui Army, and some special reserves from Iran, to pry the orange and blue Marcus Camby sheik towel from my cold, dead fingers.

Earl, you have no idea how much that moved me. If ever there was reason for us to fight the terrorists, its so that you can keep your Marcus Camby towel.

Okay, lemme axe you this:

Who was better as a rookie and second year player: David Lee or Stephon Marbury? The answer is Marbury.

Who had more success over his first 2 seasons, Stephon Marbury or David Lee? Marbury was 40-42 as a rookie, 45-37 as a second year player.

As far as I am concerned Lee has been a good player on a bad team for his first 2 seasons. As far as being a winning player in the NBA, Lee has just as much to prove as anybody else on the team. Certainly more than Marbury does.

oohah

Good to see you around again oohah.

But Lee is playing on a suckbury team now, the suckbury who has a horrible losing record since he's been with the Knicks. The one Isiah said would lead this team. Lee's future is already looking better knowing suckbury's gone after next year, if not next year.
I'll never trust this' team again.

In my' book, lovers suck! You always have to wonder about a player, who is coming off a major injury and Lee is no exception. The problem is, these guys Lee, Collins & Balkman, they are young, young, young and no ones asking why they are having these injury problems so soon. Ariza still sucks wherever he is. Isiah still took him. Frye has much to prove over there in Portland. I can see him beating the Knicks in thier first, maybe second meeting as a part of the let down, but I don't see him being a major contributor in their plans. The point I was making is non of his picks have made any significant contributions and just to be fair.....'not yet at least'. So question stands, where are these gems I keep hearing about?
I'll never trust this' team again.

good talking to you to 4949. How are you?

It seems like Marbury gets only credit for the bad, and never the good. Now Marbury is dragging Lee down? If Marbury wasn't there Lee would have been part of a winning team?

Like I said, as of right now, Lee is a good player on a bad team.

oohah

4949, I've also noticed that you have questioned Isiah's drafting/ the Knicks' talent because of injuries.

I don't understand your point, unless we can point at a player with chronic injuries. Injuries happen to players of all talent levels.

Ewing missed a 32 games in his rookie season due to knee injuries, and 19 more in his second season.

Jordan missed 64 games in his second year with a broken foot.

Amare Stoudemire missed a 27 games in his second year and 79 games in '05 - '06 .

Magic Johnson suffered an injury that caused himto miss 45 games as a second year player.

injuries don't have anything to do with talent really. Now if the Knicks or Isiah draft a Sam Bowie or Ralph Sampson type, you may have a point.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

4949's line of reasoning would consider Portland drafting Oden a mistake

and render a verdict on the Nets selection of injured Marcus Williams as a mistake

oohah - thank you

you mean the question stands in your head. otherwise the question was knocked down a long time ago. you can take the horse to the water.....etc etc.
