NYKBocker - outstanding work

but to be perfectly clear, after I caught Chandler's cameo in Las Vegas, as his self-appointed campaign manager, it just seemed that he deserved a title in concert with his playing potential as an object of arbitrary affection.

The Mayor just seemed ambitious enough to ...

and take back to the future.

As stated back in Summer, I could have lived, and suffered with, the Summer League 5 (plus Lee) all season.

Randolph Morris/The Mayor/Balkman/Nichols and Nate.

That woulda made six.

Why would you live and suffer with that group when you all but guaranteed that the Knicks would make the playoffs, with who you knew were going to play the majority of the minutes?

Not only did you all but guarantee it but you did it in such a way that anybody who thought differently should be viewed as a fool.

How's that working out for you?

Didn't you tell us in a thread which I believe got locked entitled "Don't Be Surprised Come January To See This 9 Man Rotation!", which included all these guys.

TrueBlue - I was also da guy who told you:

"it's only basketball"

this would be Stephon's 'make or break' season in New York (yet another orginal thread)

"you suck, you sit"

Randolph Morris had skills and played for a demanding college coach

Nate would be a different/better player this season

Tony Soprano would get wacked

David Lee would be a decent player at the instant he was drafted

"it ain't my money"

the Mets would make The World Series in '06

Roger Clemens was a world class jerk

the Knicks were cursed the moment they traded Walt Frazier and got rid of the classic white warmup jackets

Mark Jackson would be great fit as the next head coach

that "it ain't that deep"

Balkman should have a shooting arm transplant and be groomed as a two guard

...and the same guy who bet my entire school that Sonny Liston would defeat Cassius Clay

you wanna make sumpthin' of it?

You forgot to include:

"Everybody knows the Knicks are making the playoffs, so what's the problem?"

And God knows what else.

90% of all of this is generalizations, observations, borrowing, and simply throwing it our there seeing if it sticks.

You forgot so many others. Remember the thread you started something along the lines of "Uh Oh We Have A Fight On Our Hands At The Small Forward Spot" before the season started. I'm referring mainly to the things in which you actually start threads on. Not the replying with 1 or 2 sentences of empty jargon in a 2-3page thread you're infamous for.

I guess misterearl is going to have to throw that one onto his massive "I was wrong and I will never again address it because I was so obnoxious about it" pile.

I'm amazed that he's not trying to take credit for the sky being blue and the sun rising in the east.

Well, you sure weren't right on all of those things. We have no clue if Mark Jackson is/can be a good coach. David Lee was not quite ready right away, but he got ready within' about a season. The Mets didn't make the World Series in '06. And the Knicks have done MANY things that have cursed themselves. The brawl of '97. Driving Ewing out of town and not preparing to rebuild. The McDyess trade. Driving Ewing, McDyess, Allan Houston, Stephon Marbury and whatever other injured players there will be, into the ground. Treating coaches like shyat, yet babying these crying players.

Misterearl, stop calling yourself the answerman.

So you admit that you're really the "Wrong Answer Man".

That might be the first thing that you've gotten right.

earl, the most important question is this - if you were making the decisions for the knicks, how would you best utilize jerome james next year?

"It was really good," Chandler said of the extended playing time. "My confidence has always been high. I didn't let not playing get to me. I knew I would eventually play, this year or next year. I am glad I am getting a chance to play now. … I am just trying to play hard … and execute."

"It was tough. It was real tough," Chandler said of defending James. "He made tough shots. … He is a great player. He deserves all the credit he gets. I have to give him credit. Hopefully next time we play, I can do better."

misterearl came back from the grave to remind us that he likes Wilson Chandler...

And we're all dumber for it.

Predictable and Calculated

What was predictable?

Was it Islesfan's reaction to Earl posting? Or was it the 50 non BBall related posts that followed (excluding Biipity's honest attempt at discussion) that just attempt to shovel dirt on the guy?

I don't think those things were calculated. That would take intelligence.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
