Dolan is that weak underbelly, Blueseats, firing Thomas isn't going to change that.

Thomas' job is to get wins. He does that, he has done his job.

I get it. It's the job of an executive to get away with as much unethical behavior as the owner will allow; and it's the job of the owner to get away with as much unethical behavior as his father, the commissioner or the government will allow; and it's the governments job to get away with as much unethical behavior as the people, the trilateral commission, the mob, or whoever else runs them will allow. This is how we do things in America, in the name of profit, consumption and greed. Don't worry, it'll never catch up with us.

When I watched the Knick games last year, I was not saying to myself "Wow, this team is making progress." We played very ugly basketball for most of the season, on the offense and defense. 33 wins is not progress. Sure Curry played good post scoring, and sure Craw hit clutch shots, but it didn't translate into winning and we hardly were winning a lot when people were healthy too!

Watch the expression we he claims his innocence, then licks the lips.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

so we give it 1 more year & then it's OK to be down on this management in your eyes?

I think its OK to be down on management when we no longer see progress. I saw progress last year and if the team doesn't build on that they need to bring in someone who can, that simple.

I think a lot of people here have been down on Isiah from the start because he didn't break down the team and rebuild. I don't think that was ever an option for him. Start from there, and try to move this team forward. Thats the best anyone could have done.

This is the best that anybody could have done???

That's the biggest load of BS since Isiah proclamed his innocence.

Why is there no doubt in your mind that she started falling off in her duties, and what does the tax thing have to do with her duties at MSG?

It has about as much to do with her duties at MSG as Marbury's tryst with an intern has to do with Isiah's sexual harassment trial.

If MSG was going to make the case that Anucha was being deceptive to make some cash, they needed to show that she has been deceptive in her dealings elsewhere.

Apparently, it didn't work. Who doesn't cheat on their taxes?

exactly - bringing up tax fraud won't work with a jury b/c they all probably lied on their tax forms too - it wasn't a strong point for the defense.

The tax thing has something to do with the work environment that bred her sexual harassment claims, the way Marbury's tryst with an intern obviously did?

Sorry, I don't see the connection.

after a disaster year (franchise worst) resulting from players and coaches the GM selected from we go from worst to bad. Thats progress? Improvement from what? We have played terrible basketball under Isiah. All we get are excuses. Its depressing. 3 1/2 years is LONG TIME in sports.

we're supposed to wait 4 1/2 years...what? you didn't get the memo?

Cut them some slack, they didn't have much of a defense to work with. Had to try something for the millions that they're billing for this case.

Now you are getting it, Blue.

Just keep in mind I'm not setting the standards here, just commenting on them.

You going to tell me that even 1/16th of this board which is now oh so concerned about Anucha Browne Sanders' well-being would give two flicks about her if the Knicks were a 50 win team?

And no, I don't buy the notion that one reason this team is in such poor shape because of how Isiah (mis)treated an employee. We all went round and round on the reasons for that long before the trial and no one brought up the MSG president of Media Relations.

I am trying to imagine a scenario where a juror would think that the Marbury/cousin tryst had influence onto the hostile work environment and I can actually see it. If I am an employee and a high level exec hires a golden boy and his cousin and they are let loose in the workplace - whether or not it directly effects me or not - that IS enough to say that it is related to the greater harassment charge against Isiah and MSG (creating a hostile work environment). Did the intern "ride" with Marbury have anything to do with Brown? No. Did it add to the pile of Shenanigans that Marbury and his cousin are apart of at MSG? Yes.

Spoken like someone who thinks cheating on taxes is the same as cheating on your spouse and having sex with an intern.

You said everyone cheats on their taxes, so would it be accurate to say that you cheat on your wife?
