another successful get together. thanks everyone for coming on out. bitty/evil, if you can post the post game pics that would be nice.

we missed the intros so i have no idea who got cheered or who got booed.

apparently efw also made his way up at halftime and introduced himself to a few cats...and we all know when ef-w talks, people listen.

hopefully more of you douchebags will come out for future gatherings.

yeah guys it was fun to come up there (the air was a little thin though and next time I'll bring a sherpa). I chatted with Marv and BlueSeats a while and, despite our divergent attitudes about winning, we all agreed that:

1- steph has lost it
2- we still can't play defense
3- No one knew who Minnesota's coach was

I was lucky that my friend gave us two tickets that were in section 85. I've never been that close and it was pretty sweet! I was sitting behind Sota's bench and enjoyed watching Antoine stare off into space. He literally could not have looked more disinterested. Some observations:

-Balkman is awesome to watch up close. He is gangly as a mother, but he's all over the place with a
snarl on all the time.
-Nate definitely looks more composed and serious. He really seems to be all business out there.
-DLee looks goofier than me when I play.
-I actually saw Jamal take a puff on a crack pipe before he hoisted up some shots.
-Zach is a hustler. He didn't play that well, but he's always banging around down low and moving.
-Both bigs, however are terrible passers out of the double.
-Eddy Curry has no defensive instinct. You can tell he's been coached because he's in the right spots
and has the right rotations, but he forgets to do the simple things - like put your hands up or get
in the defenders face. He can't box out either.
-My friend who gave us the tickets kept the courtside ones for herself. She was right by the knick bench. I called her during the game to tell her that she was 5 seats away from the owner and she should tell him to sell the team. Also, she said the Nate Robinson was lying down right in front of her and that he was "cute." yeah thanks.

All in all, I had a blast. Sorry I couldn't hang with you guys up there more but I wanted to enjoy my seats. Maybe I'll catch a game with you guys up in 404 sometime though.
