Celtics are gonna be a hell of a team next year no doubt about it. They have veterans and that is the key word. They know how to win as they have done so in the past. They should win the Atlantic hands down. No reason for the kNicks to fear that though. They matchup pretty good vs them and are deeper so they might be pretty even there. Look for Cetics, Toranto and the Knicks to battle it out The Knicks will probably end up third in the division with a solid record, somewhere in the vicinity of 47 wins or so. Toranto will get 50 wins and Boston probably 52 wins. KG is a nice player but its not like they got Shaq or Duncan now thats an automatic championship.

does nj play a part in this?

Oh man I totally forgot about them mofos.
Chalk that up and make the Knicks 4th in the division.

Sounds about right.

Welcome to the Haters.

Thats not hating because I know the Knicks are still a work in prgress. I accept that you on the other hand want to dissassociate your self from the Knicks. Besides I have the Knicks with a winning record in a tough Atlantic division.

yea, that is a different situation. Kg is on another level than the, then broken down webber, but the essence of his post holds true. People will overeact to this trade, espeically the one's who live and take joy in putting the knicks down... that is the main point I am sure... and I agree with him on that..

Why is it a downer on the Knicks if the Celtics improved? Hasn't the thesis been that the Knicks are still young and growing; not a finished product? If we're supposed to buy into that, then why the outrage over the Celtics?

it isn't a downer, not for me, if anything it makes the east relevant again, and I say good. But it is the few on this board who will take this trade and use it as a way to down the knicks, Isiah and the organization as a whole. Just read the threads, how dare you compare the knicks to such a great team, or, I thought Isiah had great young pieces to get garnett, and it goes on and on. I don't think anyone on this board hates the celtics, there is just a contingent on this board that hates the knicks and they are going to damn well make sure everyone else not only knows, but wallow in their self misery, which is growing tired..real tired!!!

Right. There are people who just HATE the knicks but have nothing better to do
than to post on a Knicks fan website. That makes sense.

For the record, anyone who voted Knicks should be dragged by their feet to the gallows and be hung for malicious stupidity...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Barring injury, the Celtics should easily win more games. There's no shame in that, so lovers need to stop getting so defensive.

Comparisons to Webber are ridiculous and will cause some to question your basketball knowledge, so please stop using broken logic.

Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen = dominance. At the center and point guard positions they can put moderately good players and that puts them likely as one of the top 4 teams in the NBA. That squad should win around 56 games with no roster changes.

Yeah, seriously. Barring major injuries to either team, the Celtics should win 10 to 15 more games than us (if not more). I'd say they have a chance to win the east, whereas we may not even make the playoffs again.

Didnt you say that you werent even watching the games last season?
I think you're confused. I watched much less when Lee got injured because I knew the season was over, if that's what you mean. But I still probably saw 70% of the total min the team played.

You know what's tired? Losing and having our intelligence insulted by Isiah and the Knicks "We're right where we want to be. I wouldn't change a thing."

It's real tired.

why do you let Isiah get to you that much, really, the knicks have some good young talent, I root for them, I don't care if Isiah is fired tomorrow, I still root for lee, curry, balk and the rest, why you and some othere insist on making this a pissing match between yourselves and everthing Isiah does is beyond comprehension. Forget Isiah, forget dolan and enjoy the team, I mean even if they are bumbling idiots they managed to put some really good young pieces together, enjoy!
