Too bad this great forum has disintegrated into a place where hatred and rage seem to be the order of the day.
It's what happens when you have the worst run franchise in professional sports. A lot of fans get frustrated. The "optimists" support everything imaginable and the others get even more frustrated.

Why exaggerate the situation? I don't think that anyone likes everything that has happened with the Knicks or feel that the current situation with the team is all settled. It's a progressive thing and some of us can look at the team as it is right now and see reasons to be optimistic. If you simply live in the past then you're bound to be unhappy, cuz this team has had a long stretch of being bad.

The thing you have to do tho is look at this team as it is right now and where it's going. If you want to dismiss the many positive aspects of things with this team then fine, but too often the "pessimists" want to rain on the parade of those who can see the good things happening with this team. It's not fully realized yet, but I think most people can see that this roster has steadily improved over the last 3 years. It hasn't meant success in the win column yet, but many of us believe that it will soon lead to wins.

IT managed to bring the team to status quo using Zack trade and draft night and in general the team is getting frest start again. The wins and loses and the QUALITY of wins and loses will show the truth.
However the fact that team is starting over again after 4 years is a huge failure by itself considering amount of money and possibilities wasted.

Gus should ask him how is he planning on speaking in Italian when he can barely even speak in English.

Marbury is stupider than most poor black guys on the street.

No that's not racist.

No.

Shutup.

Thank you...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I saw part of the interview. It was about a step and a half below the Bruce Beck interview, on the akward scale. Even Gus looked quite uncomfortable and wanted to leave. Marbury is not making the Knicks organization look any good right now, that's all I have to say, and I have a feeling that Isiah knows it.

Gus Johnson's body language during Starbury's response to his Mike'd Up question is absolutely classic. Check how Gus won't even look at Starbury and keeps his head down. Look at how Gus leans away from Starbury, uncomfortably reaching for his collar, as if to say "Get the **** away from me you crackhead". He looked just as uncomfortable as Bruce Beck did.

And this was a taped interview, produced by MSG.
