As far as your jumper just observe Action's perfect form in the pics posted in the game thread. That shot is a thing of beauty (rarely goes in but looks damn pretty on the release. |

Yes it matters if a player can dunk or not. A dunk is the highest percentage shot there is. Dunking over a guy is a higher percentage shot than trying to get a layup over or around a guy. Would Zach be better if he could dunk on people with authority? Yes, obviously. Is it a big deal that he can't dunk? Not really because he's already plenty good scoring in the post.

dunking is not fundamental basketball...how many missed dunks did curry have over the last couple years.
I'm impressed with Zach's fundamentals...it's refreshing. Dunking = and 1 Let's go Knicks. That's amare

I found a Z'Bo Dunk! It was against GS. It's a weird japanese song playing, but if you can endure that at about 1:50 you'll see it on a break away. Then after another play they show a replay from a different angle.
He's definitely a below the rim player, but he's crafty with it. |

First off, Cossucks, I think you make some good basketball points, but I don't think it's your place to be making this an akward situation by making F'ed up comments about Bonn, whether you know him or not. We're a community here, and for the most part, we get along, with some actual heated debates taking place now and then. No need for you to start crap, when in fact, you probably know nobody here, unless you stalked us at one of our get togethers. Secondly, I'll state it in a second post...

What I'm hoping for Randolf is that he turns into a Larry Johnson type of player, b/c from everything I remember, LJ was also known as a guy who couldn't pass or play any defense either, and was getting the back injuries as well. Also, Zach is known as a workhorse, so if that's true, then his defensive weaknesses will take care of itself as long as he continues to work hard on both ends, and he becomes a good teammate. I have faith in him.

Posted by Allanfan20:allanfan, do you remember lj at charlotte pre-back injury? he was playing like barkley. handling the ball, setting up plays, getting triple -doubles. he was all over the court. i've always believed he would have had a career on the scale of barkley's if he hadn't gotten hurt. he had to downgrade his scope of play to an amazing degree. i think zach's coming at it from a very different vantage point. |

I understand what you're saying, and what I'm saying is that maybe Zach can play like a glorified Knicks LJ. Just a really good post player, who will start playing some defense and hit big shots and be a good leader and whatnot. I honestly don't think it's too much to ask for, especially considering we have 2 big post players now. Neither will have to use as much energy on the offense and can use a lot more of it on the defense.
