Exactly. I wasn't saying to never go on the vacation by any means. The girlfriends I've had (at least the ones I enjoyed being with) have always wanted me to succeed at what I do. They'd want me to go to the training camp and probably feel guilty if I didn't go so I could celebrate with them something I could have celebrated a few days later.

He full fills his responsibilty to the team. This isnt an official camp. They cant have an official camp based on the CBA. So far Zach and Malik have been there for 1 full day. We dont even know if they worked out.

As a fan, I am ok with Bermans piece. Eddies "Camp" should just no comment on the situation and say he is excited about "Zeddy" and there is plenty of opportunity to work and build chemistry.

THere are plenty of very high paid professionals whom make sacrifices on vacations as its part of the job. I think going forward this Las Vegas jucket thing for vets to hang in the offseason and do some light mid summer work is a good thing and perhaps should be encouraged early so that players can make it and build some unity.

If Eddy is going to the lake with his wife, thats one thing, if they take an annual big trip that involves lots of planning and/or other family members then you just go. I travel alot and its a bitch to make changes.

Regarding Marburys brain coming up small, its baffling that Thomas has put so much into him regarding his role as being the team leader. This guy has a brain made of jelly and only money makes him relevant outside the game. There were so many quotes on that interview that give insight to his views its hysterical. The one about him not able to teach the children himself was priceless.

THe fact he would not talk about how the team will do this year was interesting. But they will try to "steal" the shiney stuff! In the game of life he has won, but the game of basketball he is just like the Mavs!

Hes a nice playful dude though. Nothing like the scowel towel guy we see so often.

It doesn't matter if the bulk of you and us are fat guys talking stuff on an Knicks fan site all day on the hour Ad Nauseum with the same repetitive responses.......or that the bulk of us aren't doing our job at work (now there's commitment for you) because we're posting hundreds and hundreds of times about a flippin Basketball team. It doesn't matter because.....we supposedly have a life.

He went with his wife or he didn't. It doesn't matter if it's true or not...because as long as he performs on the court to championship expectations....it won't matter that he hung out with his wife on that special day (sounds corny to those that aren't married.....and smart to those that do).
