Nixluva: Sorry my friend but you spent an entire summer going post to post calling anyone who didn't back the trade a non Knick fan, blah, blah, blah. You preached about us having the greatest depth in the NBA(only to turn your back on that later) etc. You attacked me on a daily basis for not saying that the backcourt would fail, but simply asking the question what if? It is fresh in my mind because I have been reminding you of it since day one of the season. You have yet to address taht topic and ignore my posting because you can't find a way to spin it..............I see you as a very inconsistent poster, who doesn't beleive what he says and will attempt to spin his way out of trouble on a daily basis. It's comical and very noticeable. You talk about the loads of talent we have, but when someone else says we should be alock for the playoffs you are the first to say "if everything goes right". You doubt your own words more than anyone.

Game, Set and Match. Nixluva has mastered the art of spin, yet very few on this site care to hear it, what a shame.

That doesn't make sense BS. By that logic every trade that happens is market value and there are no good or bad trades. but clearly some teams do get jacked and it's apparent from the outset. You seem to think that any trade that happens with us fits that and we got screwed by our dumbass GM, but if most are saying that we got the better end of the deal, it must be market value. Can't do it both ways.

How silly are you. Kevin Pritchard admitted to the national media that it wasn't a value trade.

But the point is he mustn't of had better offers or he'd have taken them. So the trade reflects market value. It was similar with us getting Francis. Some couldn't believe we got him for an expiring and Ariza, a year and a half later he's on the verge of being bought out and signing for the MLE. Remember when Antoine Walker was a 20/8 max contract player?

I'm not predicting Zach is similarly fated, but with his off-court dramas, suspect knees, and inflated stats from being the focal point on a bad team it's not beyond question.

I didn't say if it's a good trade for our team or not. Lot's of people buy houses at market value and consider it a great deal for themselves, others will pay the same and say they overreached. A player's value to a team is more subjective while the players value on the market is more objective. Go put the same item up for auction on ebay 10 times and average out the sale price and you'll find it's market value. Then ask each buyer if they got it at a good deal or not an you may get 10 different answers.

Market value also raises and lowers all the time. We've seen that with TT, Marbury, and Francis. Once they were thought to be worth max contracts, then you can't give them away. OTOH, Nash got his then market value to play with the Suns (remember Dallas didn't match) and now he's severely underpaid relative to his market worth. Billips has been underpaid too.

I can't tell you what Randolph's market value will be in two years any more than you can, but logic simply tells me that if his market worth was much more than we offered they have taken the better offerings. If nobody offered better that's indicative of market value.

Lee and Frye are first rounders. The statement was that veterans don't see their value go up on the Knicks. Did i really need to provide every example when someone makes a blanket statement like that?
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Zach's value now was Channing Frye and a max contract player so useless that he's likely to be waived

A person familiar with trade talks said Portland turned down better offers from Denver, Dallas, Seattle and San Antonio because the Blazers didn't want him in the West.

Figured Bonn would ignore this.....

Seems very reliable since they don't even bother to mention what the alleged offers may have been... despite the lack of evidence, they clearly were better.
