TrueBlue: Why would Portland draft MJ when they already had Drexler?

Well you need a Center or a point guard.

Well I have to go with who I think the T-Pups should draft at this point. I'm passing on Noah and drafting Spencer Hawes.

Someone please inform TrueBlue that in the modern day era of the NBA, 6-foot-10, 256 pound Al Jefferson is a Center.

Big Al averaged 11 rebounds and 1.5 blks a game last year.

With the 8th pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, the Charlotte Bobcats select:

Forward, Jeff Green, 6-8, 235

Extremely versatile forward with solid basketball instincts. Many point guards lack his vision and passing ability. Makes everyone around him better, which is rare for a forward. Has the ability to dominate a game without scoring: his rebounding, defense, and passing ability are all very strong.

An emotionally upset Minnesota Timberwolve fan:

"It's a travesty. Why is this guy being allowed to continue to mess up the career of the Kevin Garnett? What has to take place before this guy is fired?! How in the hell can anyone draft Hawes when Noah, Green, Wright and even Jianlian are all on the board. I'm begging whoever to get this guy out of Minnesota. Now!"

Stephen A. Smith:

"Excuse me, but I am sorry people. I have to put my Cheetos down for this one. Spencer Hawes? Spencer Hawes? Folks, I seriously have to wonder what are the qualifications of being an General Manager in the NBA? Does it require you to have no basketball knowledge whatsoever? I'm sorry but I agree with the Minnesota fan. I don't think you could blindfold any GM in the entire league and have him reach into a basket filled with names and NOT have done better than a perfect visioned Kevin Mchale! Wait, is he blind? Kevin Garnett, are you listening to me? Either you or McHale have got to leave Minnesota on the first thing smokin!"

The ghost of Howard Cosell(low voice):

"Folks, this is the ghost of Howard Cosell. Sports is the toy department of human life so what in the world is going on with the NBA? I think its time for the Commissioner David Stern to vicariously implement a league-wide policy which requires that all coaches, regardless of character or creed, to submit to mandated drug testing. This is incredible. I wonder if McHale is conducting an advertisement for the abolition of the very sport that he is a part of? Its true. I may appall some listeners with my abrasive language but I am simply telling it...like...it...is."

LOL @ you he's a consistent lock on every Mock Board pick 8-12. The Wolves really have 3 needs defensive SF/G, point gaurd, center. With Playa picking Conley @ 3, Cook picking Brewer @ 6 , and Noah with a torn rotator cuff, I went with the #2 rated Center prospect in the draft. BTW Hawes dominated Aaron Gray and Gray outweighs by a ton and he's suprised scouts at the camp with his offensive skill sets, athleticism and strength. The only center in the draft next to Oden with a polished back to the basket game.

You better do your homework son.

Switching the channel to TNT...

Charles Barkley: "First off, is that really Kevin Mchale that once played with the Boston Celtics?"

Magic Johnson: (giggling)

Ernie: "Yes, Charles, that is the great Kevin Mchale who is now the GM of the Minnesota Timberwolves."

Barkley: "Well, what does GM stand for? Grave Mistake?"

Magic: (giggling)

Kenny "The Jet" Smith: "Ernie, I think what Charles is trying to say is that Kevin McHale must be trying his best to get himself fired."

Barkley: "Fired? He should have been fired a long time ago. Now its time for the firing squad."

Magic: (giggling)
