How is it that our help defenders leave their man open to help on a penetrator and not only are they not even in position to help the ball handler but they are too far from their man..... This has been a problem for two year now..

May as well bring P.Ewing here to coach. Good win for coach Byron Scott and again bad loss for NY. You have to feel good for Scott who after 2 NBA title runs with NJ got kicked in face out of metropolitan area and made myself a jealous Knick fan, with poor coaches we had since JVG left.

With all the city of New Orleans goes through and for Hornets to compete with that team and make nice gutty comeback what else can you say? Curry did what he only can do & that is to score and that's all he is good for these days. Aint rebounding. No passes or FT. There is our Eddy Curry.

But tonite our NY Knicks fell a little bit short. However we were outcoached again and I feel like a genius saying until Isiah Thomas gets it in his silly head that key to improvement for NY is working on their defense not scoring you're going to see our knicks lose ALOT more games the same way. Pat Ewing with only assistant coaches experience would do NO worse a job on teaching defense as the inept Knick coaching staff. They all must be drinking the same cup of juice since I cant see for the life of me why? Coaches can get guys to play defense or make stops.

I blame Zeke Thomas whose so-so attitude toward defending is undressing his capabilities like a cheap suit. A primary reason why team will not make the NBA playoffs. NY will have to get LUCKY and help by other NBA teams to make that 8th spot. We always gotta be more LUCKY than GOOD.

Hornets like the Sonics a terrible road team, as was Bobcats and come here in NY & whip our tails. You have the premier point guard of the future in Chris Paul and Stephon Marbury had rare off night but he was trying and NY didnt lose game cause of #3. Stephon hasnt been off in nearly 3 months.

Same result
Same old story
Same old disappointments for loyal fans
Same old Knicks, whadda ya expect ?


If the NBA East wasnt so bad and inept as it is NY would not have a chance, so NY still has some
games which are toughest games ahead to win. I see alot of losses on the schedule map ahead

TKF I wish you would have listened to me in month 1 when I told you this team didn't deserve your gamely recaps to the keys to the loss. Not to mention how much of a broken record your recaps would sound like everytime you wrote one. This team has not improved, it's pure trash, the parts do not fit at all, it doesn't have a franchise player, the coach is probably the toughest and best player on the team, no accountability, no teamwork, no heart.

No need to feel down anymore, you're realizing the truth. It's time to start looking for some kind of change. Even if the team were to make the playoffs it will not fair any better than the playoff team from 3yrs ago you see where we're at now right?

AAAAAARGH!!!! I hate losing like that! DANG IT! That just sucks! Now we have to get this next game. I'm not too happy about us playing at noon on a sunday. Those games are usually horrible for this team. This game started so well. I just felt like we would win this one.

you are right, now I can watch the games for pure enjoyment, meaning whichever team is playing well, just enjoy the game and not worry about the outcome, if the knicks lose, well it was expected, if they win, well don't get excited, they will blow the next game.. It does take a burden off..

Francis and his scapegoat story is not a good sign. I mean, are the fans or reporters blaming him? I don't think so, sounds like this stuff is coming from the locker-room.

Then you have Eddy sitting by his locker for 40 minutes telling Jamal "they wont give me the ball. I miff you, dawg. sob, sob..."

Frye hasn't stood on solid ground all year. Isiah doesn't seem to like Nate. Mardy gets short shrift even with Jamal out. Lee and Jamal don't trust the doctors.

Isiah admitted team chemistry was abysmal last year and I'm sure he's done all he can to better it this year but I don't think they're over the rainbow in that club house. I suspect the timing of Isiah extension was partly an attempt to quell some unrest. I also expect something of a shake-up of the roster over the summer. Maybe not a huge one, but I could certainly see Francis (buyout) and Nate gone pretty quick. Others might be moved if only they could.
