Jersey is still 1 game behind in the loss column !!!!

There are no must win games at this point.

The Nets look a lot better now that Jefferson is getting back to speed.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

I don't think the Nets looked that good tonight. They showed several flaws our current Knicks team still falters with.
Any time they went up, they allowed the Hornets to get right back into it with uncontested shots. Not to mention free throws made this much closer than it needed to be. 13/23 was it?
Either way, when RJ starts to get into the flow more, this NY/NJ race will get much more threatening.

They looked a lot better at the end of the game with 2 scorers to work with Kidd.

How many close games did they lose in the last minute with Jefferson out? He makes a big difference with him.

It's amazing they lost him for well over a month and have been without Kristic practically the whole yr and the Knicks haven't managed to move significantly ahead of them.

Those who think that the Nets are just going to fold have no idea what they're talking about.

I can see all the HATERS are chomping at the bit. You can smell a Knick loss and are like Vultures waiting for something to die. You guys are freakin PATHETIC!!! Talkin up the Nets as if they're the next great thing. Talkin bad about the Knicks as if a loss is a forgone conclusion. Yeah it's a tough spot, but none of these teams is assured of a win on any night. NJ doesn't impress me one bit. NOK looked horrible to me.

The thing is that Indy looks like there DONE, so really it's up to the Knicks to tighten up their shorts and get some wins and they're gonna be in the playoffs.
