Seattle would have to take Rose or Jeffries to make it work. If we paid them $3 mil, they might take Rose, who only has 2 more years left on his deal.
I like the idea of getting Lewis. He is young and would instantly become our best shooter. Imagine a starting lineup of Marbury, Q, Lewis, Lee, and Curry, with Francis and Crawford coming off the bench.

I fully agree Game, Lewis makes us a better shooting team and he's a better defender then what we have at the perimeter. He's a good player and if we can get him by only trading Frye/Nate/filler then we HAVE to jump the chance.

Rashard can help us in all those areas you mentioned. The guy is a sf that shoots almost 48% shooting and driving to the hole. He also gets 1 steal a game.

Actually Lewis would not only instantly become our best shooter. He would become our best player. Before he got injured you could argue he was having an allstar year

Frye would be their starting center easy cuz currently Seattle doesn't have one aside from the 3 projects that don't play.
Nate and Craw back home would out fannies in the seats. Seattle still has Damian Wilkins to start with that french kid who has had a few starts this year.
Something could get done but its not likely.

Exactly. This kid is the real deal. He also plays smart. He knows when to draw a fouls and when to play the lanes for steals. Lewis is one of the most underrated players in the league.

This guy is ranked #8 in the whole NBA for his averages in fantasy ball.
He shoots high % all over the floor, rebounds, gets steals and even blocks shots once in a while.
However if we trade Channing for him our 4/5 is very very thin we would have to rely on guys like Jerome/Malik/Jeffries and we all know where that has gotten us.

I highly doubt Jamal is getting traded this season. Rashard coming here is probably to play with Jamal. Also Jamal and Rashard are close friends. Kind of like Curry and Jamal. Remember Curry wanting to here had alot to do with Jamal. This could be the same case with Rashard.

If we could just get Petro to be included in that deal it would be ideal. He could play that long 4 that we need to prevent easy drives down the paint.
Alan Hahn:
Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

We would probably have to add a draft pick to get Petro. In any case, IT needs to get this done. It is a good trade for both teams imo.

I don't know why he didn't take petro instead of nate in the draft it would have made more sense to take a chance on a big
Do you seriously think Petro would bring in as much $$$ as Nate does. After last year's slam dunk contest, I saw many Nate jerseys. This is a corporation that cares only about $$$.

I would do Q and Frye in a heart beat.................... this team would be an offensive monster.
New York Trade Breakdown Outgoing Jamal Crawford 6-5 SG from Michigan 17.9 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 4.4 apg in 37.5 minutes Nate Robinson 5-9 PG from Washington 8.5 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 1.5 apg in 18.8 minutes Kelvin Cato 6-11 C from Iowa State 1.6 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 0.0 apg in 5.8 minutes Incoming Rashard Lewis 6-10 SF from Alief Elsik (HS) 21.6 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 2.4 apg in 38.5 minutes
If we could make that move and then send Frye to Golden State for Pietrus I think Isiah would have a solid team on his hands.......

Good points. I thought I was the only one that likes Law.
I would be surprised if Nate makes it past the deadline. Also I don't think Isiah is going to trade Q. Knowing Isiah he probably will put Lewis at the 4. lol

With Shaq on the down side, I think the Knicks should be looking at the possibility of getting someone like Wade! I think the Knicks should save all of they're marbles.
I'll never trust this' team again.
