Howard's defense of Curry was great ?? Duncan just put up 24pts 16rebs and 4blks with 1stl against the great defender last night.

Duncan is an all time great player.

Wilt had some monster games against Russell. I guess that means Bill Russell wasn't a very good defender.

okay. but Curry always has good games against Howard, a supposed two-way monster. he's also had very good games against other notable shotblockers/defenders like Ben Wallace, Bogut, Bynum, etc this year. what does that make Curry? a tough cover?

and not only does he score against these guys, but he often gets them in foul trouble, taking them out of the other side of the game as well. surely that must count for something?

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

So the fact that Isiah was huge in the development of turning O'neal into that franchise player after doing nothing for 5yrs in Porland. Or the fact that under Isiah Artest went from average player who could do everything but not great an anything. Turning into an elite defender and one of the best 2 way players in the game. Or the fact that Brad Miller went from journey man hard working role player on Cha & Chi to allstar big man under Isiah indy. Isiah shouldn't get credit for any of that. All that matters is because the *one* season in the playoffs where they were the better seed even though they had a ton of circumstances fall on them toward the end of the yr. They underachieved. Forget the fact that Thomas played a major part in building and developing them into the team that went on to the finals the next season which Carlise(spell?) ending up taking all the credit for.

If Thomas would have coached one more yr and they failed again then I would agree. But he didn't get one more yr and it wasn't because of his coaching. But thats life.
