Balkman is really making a case to start, or at least to be ahead of JJ in the rotation. 12 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals and two blocks? That is a very nice line.

It looks like Lee is the only Knick playing well. Marbury's playing okay I guess. (That's from looking at the box score.)

4 0f 6, 2 To, 0-2 fro FS, 0-3 from 3
ut its OK for guy on one leg

I was looking at assists too (the most important stat for a PG anyway)

Curry only 9 shots???
Marbs with 2 assists in the 2nd half
Q Rich only 16 mins (he's in some kind of slump)
Craw came alive but too little to late.
10 missed FT's
Lee and Balk played well
Another loss that shouldn't have happened!!

Marb is playing very well for player of his age and helth problems
But he is not a star any more - just decent role player.
I think this is natural and good for this team.
But we cannot count on him to win the games by himself.
Sucks for the prise we are paying but it's live...

This "playoff race" is a joke. We play the Magic, the Clippers, and the Lakers in the next four games. Well be lucky to come out of that stretch 1-3. I swear this team is incapable of putting away easy games. We just cant ever man up an put the games away. Its ridiculous.

This team cannot win for granted regardless the opponent.
They are stil fighting with their own futility.
Opponetnis just the background distruction factor.
Tem has no identity and direction.
I don't consider this loss on obrration. It's a rule.

I don't think people realize this is not a good team.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Everybody who understand bbal are defenetely avare about this.
It is sad that people who have influence on this tem future are missleaded by IT and Co. This delays the healing process and extends the agouny of the fans

Are you trying to argue that the team isn't improved over last season because of the development of Lee and Curry? Seriously?

If so, I'd rather be Isiah than whoever you are.

How development of Lee is related to IT and Co?
Nobody was counting on him in Knicks organization. IT has hard time even to speak about Lee.
Eddy is nice half-player so what? One young players and one half-star is not enough to have any improvement.
What this "improved" team accomplished so far? Browl? 19-27 record - the 21st in the lague? And this in worst division on worst conference in years?
Comeon...
Because of this "we are improved" mentality this team will never moved forward...

Huh? A head coach doesn't deserve credit for players that develop under his watch? It's been reported that Aguirre has taught Curry how to improve his low post game, and it's hard to imagine that Lee isn't getting similar coaching from the staff.

I really don't understand your point.

My point is simple.
The improvement of 1 or 2 players is not improving the team.
It is highly unlikely that non of 15 players will improve in 1-2 years.
But it is not enough to make a winner.
The player is like a leased car - can be wrecked, traded, get into mental or physcal slamp...
Good NBA teams make it possible to sustein the temporary or permanent loss af any player on the roster and still play at high level.

I disagree. As I have posted before, this team is better than their record. The whole is not always greater than the sum of the parts at any given snapshot in time, but over time the whole cannot help but be better as its component parts improve. That is exactly the process that is taking place on the Knicks right now.

This team has considerably more young talent than the group that Isiah inherited. The problem is that he overpaid for too many of the players he acquired.

I never said that they are a good team at this point. But the foundation for the future is undeniably improved.
