Oh, another chapter in the saga of a drama queen ---- The Larry Brown story. He is the master at making people feel sorry for him, when in all honesty has been as two-faced as they come. Good thing most around here are obsessed with preserving his legacy because he opposed that ‘no good’ Zeke.

Philly game is tough to pin on them. They were playing their 4th shorthanded game in a week after winning the first three in multiple overtimes. They were due. Boston you're right about, although at least we fought back against huge leads to make it close. Tonights win was much nicer.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Are you trying to tell me that the players didn't quit on Larry, starting with their leader Marbury?

Lee was developed very nicely last year considering he was the 30h pick and had 8 forwards ahead of him.

Wasn't Curry's heart ailment and being out of shape because of it supposed to have been his excuse for dogging it all last year?

Frye did a lot better last year didn't he?

Crawford started to tighten up his shot selection under Brown and played better under him.

Rather than looking at individual achievements, it's better to look at how the team is playing, even Larry would tell you that.

And, really, can we drop the line that Marbury "quit" on Brown when he was leading them to a six game winning streak averaging 23ppg and 13apg before he hurt his shoulder? it's not his fault he got hurt. and he hurt himself more by trying to rush back too quickly.

edit: also, it Brown was looking for a leader, it makes playing Lee less even less excusable. but we all know he wasn't looking for a leader, he was trying to force Marbury and Isiah out of town and get personnel control - which OMG, look at that! he just got personnel control in Philly. I'm SURE he didn't want to weasel his way into the position in NY. and if he's so old and can't coach, why did he take a 4 or 5 year contract in NY? why did he interview in the front office in Cleveland before he came here? his plan the whole time was to get into the front office.
