By seasons end............... I'm not sure. And I didn't even look at the standings, I'm saying by seasons end I can name 5 teams that will not be 400. in the east. THe west have alot of elite players so theirs is harder to predict because nobody should in the west be under 500 expect one. Hell the bottom teams in the playoffs in the west will have, kobe, AI, Melo, Yao, Tmac and Garnett on them.

The only point I am trying to get across is don't confuse being one of the best crappy teams with being a good team. Just because the rest of the east sucks doesn't mean we're good.

The Knicks are 9-12 in a crappy conference(it is in the link I provided) and 1-4 in an even worse division.

I understand that, but usually only about 6 elite title teams play 500 ball on the road every year and the west has about 5 of them this year. 400 would be a great away record for this team and most. I don't like they way the kings and clippers games went, but this isn't a very good team so those things while not accepted are expected from a team like this. Baby steps.

And good40win, great50win and elite60 teams season record home and away looks something like:
26-15 home and 15-26away= 42-42
30-11 home and 20-21away= 50-32
32-9 home and 28-13away= 60-32

The problem is this team isn't good at home either. .400 records on the road can be made up by being at least sufficient to win at home. I understand that this team isn't good. But even bad teams don't go around accepting mediocrity-especially teams that aren't clearly rebuilding. If we were the Bobcats, I would agree with you.

It's not the record on the trip that's disappointing. It's watching the team come out flat in 2 of the games and then talkinga bout how it wasn't a bad trip. Nothing wrong with raising your standard and becoming upset when you play poorly. Not sure why people are even arguing it. I'd rather our players be excited about the two wins but po'd at how they came out in 2 of the others.
