AI is 32. The Knicks aren't close enough that AI would take us to the promised land soon. His game is built on speed and his productivity will head south soon. It just doesn't make sense for us. It makes sense for a contender. And that's where he'll wind up.

AI's contract is the same as Marbury's though 22mm expires after 2009

I don't think we'd win anything with AI. He'd get us into the playoffs and maybe passed a round or two but we won't win with him and thats the last thing this franchise needs; to NOT be in the lottery. This franchise has got to stop with the band-aids and quick fixes and get a franchise player that will be here for the next 10 years, not 3.
