Bored misterearl?

How far do you plan on going back?

If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

It's great if he keeps the Knicks out of the lottery but we're not winning a championship with this team as constructed, so how good is it that he keeps us out of the lottery?

I'd be happy with the playoffs. You have to walk before you can run.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

I understand that fully and I would love to watch the Knicks play more than just 82 games. With that being said, I also want this team to be built to vie for a championship. In my opinion, which it is is just that, my opinion, I don't think this team can vie for a championship and I'm not sure how they are going to with no cap-space and contracts not movable for a few more seasons.

I think Curry is the key to our future and any semblance of a title run over the next 10 years. Isn't that why we traded two first rounders for him? Is this news?

We traded 2 first rounders for Marbs not Curry. For Curry we traded 1 first rounder and an OPTION to SWAP first rounds picks. Why do the media and fans always turn that option to swap picks in to us trading the 2007 pick outright?

because they're all Net fans just like Bip.

We traded four picks (2 1st rounders, 2 2nd rounders) for Curry and will get one pick back

you got that wrong... we traded 5 1st rounders, 6 2nd rounders, the rights to our 1st born for the next 10 years, & a craftsman tool set for Curry... leave it up to Isiah to include the tool set when he didn't have to... now our franchise is screwed.

Why do you post things that are slanted to the point of not being true. We did not trade 2 first round picks outright.

The first round pick we traded:
a 2006 first round pick
a 2007 OPTION to SWAP first round picks.
This 2007 swap may or may not happend and if it does it will most likely not even be a huge move down. Probably 5-10 spots.
There is absolutely no way that the Bulls get our first round pick without us getting the bulls first round pick in return so what is this nonsense that we may get one back?

I changed the word "May" to "Will" (actually before you replied) because we will get one pick back. There's nothing inaccurate in my post. It just more concisely states what you stated.

17-22 with an in shape Curry. Draft position as of right now via record(21rst best record) 9th pick which says L.O.T.T.E.R.Y.

I disagree. I have been talking all year that a big part of our problem is Curry is NOT in shape. He's in better shape this year but he's still way too heavy. He simply doesnt move on defense. He usually takes the first half off entirely on defense. Go look at pictures of him now vs. his final year with the Bulls when he showed up pretty lean for his contract year. He's an easy 30-40 pounds overweight.

I'm not asking Eddy to be Ewing or Hakeem, but for us to take the next step I think a few simple things need to happen. Among them is Eddy slimming down so he can move around a little on that side of the ball. Eddy is also going to have a VERY short career playing at his weight. I'm suprised he hasnt hurt himself yet. Of course you have to move around to do that, so maybe thats part of his strategy.

I'm still not sure why this is news. You look at the roster, only an idiot would not realize that Eddie was the key to our future. Why when a poster says it the poster is a fool that needs to root for oither teams. But when the super fantastic, Mr. magic Peter Vecsey says it, it's somehow news.

I think most NY fans were saying Eddie Curry getting in shape is the key to us winning on the day we traded for him.
I just hope that people will like me

Eddy's in shape for an average adult male but no way is he lean enough to play to his potential in the NBA
