Keanu Reeves? At least you don't get mistaken for one of bob marley's sons. That happenes a lot. I guess its better to be mistaken for reggae royalty than little Jon.

Lol, people might mistake us for a cast of sureal life.

Am I the only one who sees the idiodicy in an "Ignore Button"?

1st, these forums are fun because of the conflict between different opinions.
If someone as an ******* is it really too much to ask to just scroll on by?

I've thought of some people here as *******s at one point or another, and at the same time most of those people have usually also said something I liked, agreed with or that made me think.

If you don't like it scroll past it, nix the ignore button, I fear most will use it to block differing opinions and the level of conversations here will be less lively.

For those reasons I am anti-ignore button.

I have to agree with Killa here. Besides, I've tried ignore functions on other forums and they just make me really curious about what the poster is saying! If you're gonna invest in a new feature, get a search function IMO.

What makes this site good is the conflict. Don't give the vet babies a pacifier.

You can ignore the ignore function but why even have it. Its like giving people the power to moderate their own experience. That would suck. If guys don't like what's said they should find another site. I guess same could be said of me and other guys that don't like the possible changes.

I really don’t understand your logic. You ask people to manually ignore the annoying posts right? Why cant you just manually ignore the "ignore" feature? I trust that everyone will have only 1 maybe 2 people on ignore. That will not censor any conflicting views. It will just filter out the posts that really aggravate some of us.

The whole "scroll past it" thing doesn’t work cause if someone is just trying to get attention, he will post something you cannot just scroll by. You know it too. [hypothetical]If I wanted to get under your skin, you could probably hold out for a week but sooner or later you will crack under my constant stream of strategically drafted posts. [/hypothetical] That’s what trolls do and every one of us is a troll at some point or another. Also, sometimes there are some things you feel so strongly about that you cannot just scroll past it. Maybe you can but I cannot. I trust that not many of us will abuse the ignore feature and if they do, their effing loss.

Eny, thats bullcrap. Do you come to ultimateknicks for a conflict or do you come here for news and opinions you haven't seen anyplace else? What makes this site good is "real" fans giving us real news. I mean, can you ever duplicate djsunyc? The dude can find information and almost anything Knicks. He gives us straight up info from season ticket holder events. What about Marv? Can you picture yourself enjoying a conflict with one of them?

Of course part of it is testing your opinion but there is no way anyone on this forum will ignore you!! I rarely agree with fishmike or BRIGGS on anything but I will never ignore them. Thats cause I know they arent just ****ing around. But every-now-and-then we find a poster that only wants to annoy us and has absolutely nothing good to add to any thread. After about 2 months, its easier to just add him to the ignore list than scroll past his posts that are tailored to get attention. Trust in the people here to not abuse the ignore function and you will see that it will help.

Silver, I think what Eny means about conflict is the differing opinions and the sometimes heated arguments and verbal sparring that come from that. If it weren't for that we'd just have a board full of rvhoss' doing a circle jerk. And don't think it would be his first.

As far as the ignore button, I don't think it's a good idea. Threads get disjointed, nonsensical and much more difficult to read and follow. If people don't want to read certain individuals posts, then don't read them. Besides, I don't want rvhoss to be able to avoid my tormenting him with a click of a button.

Isles... a UK villan? He's like the most credible person on the board, for god sakes.

Anyway, hope things are going well, Bonn.

Btw, has anyone seen Bippity? I haven't noticed him posting lately. Oh wait, maybe I'm manually ignoring him.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Strangely, Bonn implemented his own kind of ignore feature for the rest of us.

Get over it you spineless loser. You just realized that your lame 3rd grade putdowns just galvanized people to defend me (totally unnecessary guys but much appreciated) so now you think you're going to suck up to me and them?? Forget it arsehole.

Do me a favor and keep disliking me intensely and keep up the lame arse insults.

And by the way, it was a Ho-Ho.

It must really suck not having any friends huh rv? Having to come to an internet message board for validation. Very sad.

We all see it when you post only a "" when someone says anything remotely complimentary towards you. And then you'll admittedly disappear when people ridicule you. The most pathetic part is when you come back you always start your post with a "I've been away because people were mean to me...". Like you're just begging for sympathy. If you weren't such a complete idiot I'd almost feel sorry for you.

Oh, did I tell you that I LOVE the fact that I own you? I'm loving how worked up I've gotten you now. Your hands are probably shaking with hate as you type.

Wouldn't it be something if Isles and RV were friends in the real world just playing this little charade the whole time?

hahaha! That's the only thing that would make sense! Maybe I'm just too new here, but I can't see why two people who have probably never even met could hate each other this much. It must be some kind of internet joke that no one else picked up on (until now!).

those two have been around here for while. As soon as the season starts, and certainly if the Knicks are not winning and Isiah fools around with the roster with a big trade, you'll understand the hate.

What hate? How can I hate someone that keeps me so thoroughly amused?
