Well Bip, I think you're right about that but it's easier for Steph to pick up Manute's jock b/c Mr. Bol (Actually also my old French tteacher in junior high) has a tough time reaching down to hungry children when he's giving them food so he has a real disadvantage. You'd think Steph would take advantage of that, but hasn't. All he's done was put out a $15 shoe. I mean, why not make it $10, or even better for the community, $9.99. But he failed to do this. And plus, Manute has showed even more hard work and dedication by trying his hardest to reach down, giving food to the kids.
Bip, would you say that Marbury couldn't hold Ray Allen's jock?
Couple things: Number one, no way could Marbury hold Ray Allen's jock strap when it comes to charity work......I also agree with the shoe pricing. I grew up poor and was unable to buy sneakers. It would be great to have a shoe priced at $9.99. But most athletes, including Marbury are too arrogant to give us that $9.99 shoe. Instead they price it at $15 and expect us to get all excited. Meanwhile my brother is wearing cardboard boxes on his feet for school today. I'm pretty sure that Ray Allen is working on a $9.99 shoe as we speak.
Bip, this is Ray, you know, from the UConn day. Just want you to know that I'll be delivering 10,000 free shoes to peoples homes starting October 1st and will be putting an $8.99 shoe out 2 weeks afterwards. Marbury doesn't stand a chance.
