There's nothing surprising about Francis starting. He and Marbury are the 2 best guards on the team.

I really like the move because it should make Francis play shooting guard instead of point guard. I have always believed shooting guard to be his natural position and I think he will excel in that role. He will also provide ball handling for when Marbury is out or they can reverse roles when Marbury is hot.

Let's just hope Francis is willing to pass the ball.

I think the only reson Francis is a good fit at the 2 is because he's an awful decision maker at the 1. So its more like, he's a better fit at the 2 because he so horrible at the 1. Pick you poison.

I don't like Francis at the 2 either because he's not a catch and shoot player. He's a catch and pound it (and pound it, and pound it, and pound it) then slash. Setting screens for this guy is useless. But like you said, he is our next best guard after Marbury....so again, pick your poison.
