Saying that LB went to them and begged for Jalen Rose and Steve Francis doesn't even pass the laugh test. But I see some of you are so gullible that you're going to believe it completely when it makes no sense at all.

Uh, Isles, maybe in your blind rage you can find the actual quotes where Larry Brown says this himself!!!!!

but I guess Isiah and Dolan were making him say that.

Isiah is such a ****ing liar. Him saying that they were about to lose 50-60 million in payroll until LB basically forced Rose and Francis on them is an absolute joke.

How do you people even accept that as the truth???

This definitely seems a little suspect.

This whole thing about LB looking to make trades is beyond asinine. How do you make trades when you don't have the power to make them? All coaches talk to people they know on other teams about personnel. It's absolutely ridiculous that another GM would say that they had a better offer from LB when he's not even authorized to make deals.

With Brown's stature, its totally believable that they would believe that he has the authority to make those kinds of decisions.

What stature is that? All you guys seem to do is say that his stature is a myth.

And how is that?? HE DOESN'T HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO MAKE DEALS!!! He can't call the NBA offices and tell them to pull the trigger, can he??? No he can't and his stature has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Why would they believe it when they know as well as anybody on this earth that their coach CAN'T make trades.

Brown could tell you guys 2 + 2 = 1,000,000 and you'd say that you know it doesn't make sense, but he has a track record and hesa hall of famer so you believe it.

So what we're fans it has nothing to do with us. You were saying before that Larry Browns stature would allow him to make trades even though he has no ability to make them although you and others have vehamently tried to say that Browns stature is a myth.

MSG - All Propaganda All the Time

They're airing their propaganda film over and over and over again. I guess they hope that if people hear it enough they'll start to believe it.

The bottom line is this: Do you think they made that story up?

I don't, even the Brownites on the board here admit that they believe he has done this type of thing. He has a track record of doing it actually.

Killa.....let's do this right....

Larry had some juice is San Antonio, wanted Robinson trade...the GM said no make it work...he did....

Larry had some juice in Indiana, wanted Miller traded (I think)....the GM said no make it work...he did...

Larry had some juice in Philly, wanted Iverson traded...he was until Geieger didn't turn down his trade kicker....The GM then said to Larry, no make it work...he did...

Larry had some juice in Detroit, wanted Chauncy and Tayshaun traded...the GM said no make it work...he did...

Larry had some juice in NY....(supposedly) said he wanted Francis and Jalen.....Isiah said yeah, sure ok....so he got them...now he wishes he didn't.

What is the pattern here? The GM is the boss, no matter what the coaches perception. I feel you are really under estimating Zeke's role in these trades. Other GM's have told Larry no, and he moved on...that is the GM's role with Larry...he is the governer cable to LB's many wims....

Absolutely I believe that they're doing everything they can to blame LB for those 2 deals and taking as little responsibility as possible since everyone knows how awful those deals were.

Done what type of thing? Making trades that he's not authorized to make, for players that everybody knows he despises but they happen to be exactly the types of players that the GM has looked to acquire since he's been here.

Were Brown and Glass truthful with the media as things fell apart with Detroit last year?

Did Dolan and Isiah throw $50M at Brown anyway?

Why are you wasting your time? The owner of the Pistons, who never goes on TV went on TV last year to say Brown was a bad guy. Same thing happens this year. How can two very different owners comet to the same conclusion? Are they conspiring against Larry?

Wait, because LB is a bad guy it means that he's the one that's at fault here when the 2 people on the other side are also known to be pretty bad guys? Or maybe you think that Dolan and Isiah should be up for sainthood.

Yeah, nobody who has dealt with Isiah has never had a bad thing to say about him.
