We have a lot of guys on our roster. Not everyone can get guaranteed minutes. Does that mean that those players that Isiah keeps out of the rotation have a right to not try hard when they are asked to play?
If Isiah's smart and that happens, he won't make the same coaching mistake repeatedly: He'll address the issue, perhaps by benching the player until he learns. Larry's approach was to keep trying the same mistake (e.g., starting Curry and giving him about 35 min whenever he wasn't in foul trouble regardless of how he played) and to expect a better result than all previous times.

I hope you're right Bonn. Everybody should know their roles, whether that be as a starter, a reserve or a benchwarmer. Roles should be consistent, then whether or not players are happy, they can't complain about being jerked around. If a guy is benched, bench him for a reason and let him know the reason.

See Isiah TALKS to his players and INTERACTS with them. He gains their confidence and they aren't left wondering what they did wrong. So I expect that the players will have fewer problems this year. Its sad that LB didn't work to try and make this work. I really have to think that all he wanted was the money and Isiah's job. Why else would he act so crazy. He was clearly trying to get rid of Isiah and then once he knew that wasn't going to happen, he just wanted to collect his big payday and go home.

There's no defense for what he did to this franchise, which he claimed to have so much love and respect for.

Isiah's made a lot of mistakes as a GM but I think what you just mentioned will be a big strenth of his as a coach.
