Balkman said ... that he wasn't upset at the booing at Madison Square Garden when his name was announced.

"That really didn't mean a thing to me," he said. "They're going to boo and everything else, but they don't bother me. They'll see what I'm about next year. I've proved people wrong before. I'm going to go out and play hard. Whatever it takes, I'm going to do it, dive on the floor, play defense, whatever."

This is the first thing said by a player that gives me hope, not that feel good BS.

Now if only Massagebury would say something similar....

Yeah I agree Blue. The rest of the stuff that has been said has just been filled with fluff about how the environment is more positive and all this other BS. I want the players to take the onus upon themselves like Balkman is doing and realize the past 3 years lies on their shoulders as much as Isiah's.

All this talk is exactly what we've been doing for the past few years. Talking about how things are better, going to get better, we are going to play hard, ready to prove doubters wrong. That's all we keep hearing. Enough already. Just go out and do it. I don't care what the atmosphere was like 6 months ago, a month ago or even a day ago. What are they going to do today to make the team better. I want players in camp in shape. I want "stars" playing hard on every play. I want guys respecting the coach's decisions whether they agree or not. When we lose I want players blaming themselves and trying to figure out what they can do better to help Isiah keep his job and the team to move into the future. Enough talk.
I just hope that people will like me

THIS should be the quote used on the opening page of Ultimate Knicks.

And they should lace up their sneakers too. Don't forget that.

"Come on man, there's no way anyone can say that they don't want to play for the Knicks," (Al) Harrington said with a smile. "It's always big playing in The Garden every night. If it's meant for me, it's going to happen."

"I mean, it's kind of like when you put white clothes and yellow clothes and blue clothes and all of them different type clothes together when you're supposed to wash them separately," Marbury said of the different lineups. "It's kind of like that. When the white clothes came out, you were like, 'Damn, why did I do that? That was a mistake.'

"It's kind of like that, but everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens just because. But I think everyone learned a lot from this year. I know for myself, I did."

It's also good to add one of those little anti-static sheets.

BJones - eberyone KNOWS that if you have too many clothes loaded in the washer, nothing gets clean.

Better to eliminate some articles clogging up the flow.
