Are you following a particular team during the playoffs? What teams do you think will meet in the finals? Who do you think will win? Who do you want to win? Which team will be the NBA Champions in 2006?

oohah you're forgetting who was there for the first 2.

Jordan/Pippen/Grant or Rodman vs Duncan/Robinson/Ginobli

However I do agree

Jordan/Pippen/Grant beat Duncan/Ginobli/Parker

No I remember, but I was too lazy to edit.

Anyway, you got it wrong (Or incomplete), it was: Duncan/Robinson/Parker for the first and Duncan/Robinson/Parker/Ginobli for the second.

And while Robinson was still a very good player when he got his 2 championships, what really decides it for me is Jordan, because he showed an ability to single-handedly control the game no matter what he was up against. If you can't handle Jordan, you can't handle the Bulls because his teammates made their shots.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I feel the same way about Duncan. If you can't handle him - and noone on the Bulls could - his team will bury you.

And i believe out of all the big men only Duncan and Hakeem had that extra gear to keep Grant Rodman off the boards and still have something left to turn and challenge Jordan at the rim.

I think they break up either of the 3 peats. Would've made for a great finals match. Karl Malone allowing himself to be guarded by Rodman down the stretch of games killed the Jazz. What Duncan did draped by Wallace&Wallace with Dyess thrown in showed me he has a whole nother level of ability to will his team to victory.

Well I guess it boils down to the unprovable, who was more unhandle-able? Jordan or Duncan..Hakeem? I would say Jordan, but if that matchup is even, a #2 of Scottie Pippen is much better than the #2's of Duncan or Olojuwan. Vernon Maxwell for sure, and Drexler was still very good, but past his prime. Robinson was no longer a superstar after his injury.

However, I think that it is possible Hakeem, or Duncan, or even Shaq + Kobe (Phil Jackson coaches against himself!) might have snagged one off of MJ, but I still see the MJ team as winning a lot more. Looking back, once they got their championship, Duncan got beat, Shaq got beat, but MJ did not. There was no debate about who was the best. I don't see Hakeem beating the Bulls, but boy did he step up when time was right!

And as far as Duncan replacing Ewing or Malone, I'd say Duncan would have won championships where those 2 didn't.
How would he have pulled that off? We've eliminated the possibility of the Spurs beating any team that won the championship when Ewing and Malone played

amazing note about the Rockets team with Drexler - as a 6 seed they beat 4 50 win teams 2 actually won 60 I believe en route to that championship.

Phoenix Utah San Antonio and Shaq's Magic

a truly phenomenal performance

I recall Dream being hurt for a few games in one of those series and drexler having some huge games especially on the defensive backboard

Pistons locked in a struggle, and the Spurs are on the ropes! Mavs are looking like the playoff's top team.
