i remember last year i was calling for the Knicks to sign Zo Mourning to be the shotblocker & inside banger they needed & got flamed by almost everyone here who thought he was finished... he was a defensive force this year off the bench for MIA... he wouldn't sign here anyway, but he could've really helped this team last year if he was on the roster.

I'll re-post this since it applies to the topic:

I don't mind us trading for Kenyon, as long as he doesn't end up like McDyess did for us.

It would take a little time for me to accept him as a Knick, especially after how much he seemed to enjoy embarrassing the Knicks every chance he got (at least when he was a Net).

Is there anyone that can help us in the frontcourt with TWO good knees?

I think its warranted because the risk of injury is so high for a guy playing on a borrowed kidney!

I would just like to point out I wouldn't trade Marbury or Francis for Martin-that is overpaying. I would am ALL FOR acquiring him, but not overpaying given his current situation. Mo Taylor and a throw in works for me.

i say get rid of Marbury AND Francis... sign Jason Williams (Duke Blue Devil, not White Chocolate) to a minimum contract, get me KMart & get rid of Jalen... i can deal w/KMart's immaturity if it means we no longer have to deal w/Marbury, Francis or Jalen's shenanigans.

At this point I think it's a big risk to go for him, and I'm tired of seeing the Knicks get burned or make sideways moves.

Under the RIGHT circumstances I would be ok with getting K-Mart, but not what seems to be the proposals we hear/read rumored. If he's healthy, sure he'd be a help, but that's to big of an IF for a team like the Knicks. We can't go around taking these kinds of risks.

Is Isiah thinking the same thing? I'm not sure, and frankly I'm a little nervous based on his and the Knicks track record since the Ewing trade. We'll see what happens, and I reserve the right to change my mind since things always change, but for now I am against getting K-Mart.

Even more reason that i want him... get rid of Marbury & i can't wait til the next time Marbury & his TWolves come into the garden to play KMart & the Knicks... i'm pretty sure i know who Q Rich is gonna side with on that one.

NO!! martin would be a huge mistake. let channing play, forget this K-mart crap, we dont need his max salary, bnaged up knee's and bad attitude here. on mourning, he might be worth it as a back-up with limited minutes, we need leaders and guys who can help out the young players, he could be a great teacher for channing.
