People it been a long time since I been on these boards!!!

I dont think a deal is possible withou at least another team thrown in. Knicks dont have roster spots and were talking of more players going out of Minny than going in. I like Eddie Griffin and Troy Hudson besides that Minnesota can keep their garbage.

if we do trade marbury to minnesota we should try to get jaric back too, he's a good defender, and we dont have many of those.

^ Actually last time I checked, Jaric is a horrendous defender. Plays the passing lanes Ok though.

And why on freakin EARTH would you want Hudson Fal? That guy is 1 injury away from retirement.

I agree that it might have to be a 3-way.

That shouldnt be too hard though.

The basis of the trade would probly be Jaric, Hassell, Griffin, & Madsen.

You take Griffin and Madsen, and pawn them off to another team for 1 player, thus saving the roster spot.

So it would end up being Jaric, Hassell, & _____ for Marbury. Hell, maybe we can throw in Q. Woods.

On draft night I'd make a deal with GS. Taylor & both our 1st rounders for Foyle and the lotto.

That puts us in fine position to grab a guy like Brandon Roy....

Take feelers for Francis all season long....

Easy peezy Japanezey..

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Hudson can be moved. Jerry West is the one who signed him for that money & Minny matched.

I'd flip him in a sign & trade for Bobby Jax (2 yr deal) in a heartbeat.

Bobby Jackson and Troy Hudson will look quite wonderful on the Knick's bench in their custom-tailored suits while they rehab from whatever season-long injuries they have.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

a deal like that, while most would scoff at, would be 1 of the best trades this franchise ever made, from both a financial standpoint as well as a chemistry standpoint... of course, it's impossible to pull off due to the differences in salary, unless you think Charlotte would be willing to take on all of Marbury's huge remaining dollars... i don't see them doing it... for the Knicks it would be a no brainer... Brevin Knight makes less than 1/4 of what Steph pulls down a year, & he'll give you much better production for the dollar, along w/a team leader who will buy into the system LB is trying to implement... that would also free up cap space to give much added flexibility for the Knicks to pursue other big deals down the road.

kg must be sick of losing, being traded to new york is a big gamble for kg. if zeke could lose his mind for just one more summer trade, have to wonder if mchale would lose his too to chance kg + hudson + blount for franchise + curry + q1

nothing but the finest bug juice will do

None of these trades make sense. If the knicks had the roster spots and if the knicks didn't have the same type of players aleady on their bench then these trades would be great.

I don't have a clue what the solution is though. I play with trade ideas all the time. The knicks need to be creative. There is no way to erase the problems the knicks currently have with the roster. Guys like craw and q-rich don't just disappear and you can't just pack on jaric and hassel without moving them. If the knicks move them they will take players back...who is coming back and where will these guys play?

Its a frantic situation. Lots of confusion going on. I really don't know what the knicks can do.

There are teams that want to make trades too but they have what the knicks need but the knicks don't have what they need.

Lord deliver us from evil!

Starting lineup of:

Curry, K-Mart, Lee, Hassell, Crawford

Bench:

Nate, Frye, Butler, Jaric, Malik

No way this team gets better with Crawford as the point.. HE CAn't play PG.. If that's the case, i rather have MArbury as Point.. Crawford is suited as a sixth man as well, not starter.

It's better than what we have now.

TO Bobs3304,
looks like im gonna have to agree with you on this one.. Crawford did a fabulous running the point yesterday.. HE set the tone controlling the offense in the half -court set, wasn't really looking to shoot unless it was necessary and most of all, looked like a team leader out there giving out instructions.. I was impressed...

Crawford seemed to follow and bought into Larry's plan..

Successful Scenario
Due to New York, Minnesota, and Memphis being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. New York, Minnesota, and Memphis had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Trade ID
Every trade made by fans is allocated a unique Trade ID which you can share with friends and fellow basketball fans to allow them to see your trade scenario. The Trade ID for this scenario is 3027560.

ongbok, your trade is a complete teardown of the very crux of players zeke was trying to assemble, thats okay, since you are an elite member of trades r us. hey, i see you have cloned my kg trade with little modification that puts me in a little disagreement.

i would save frye to package a j-rich, t-mac, or ron artest trade

Frye for T-Mac and his back problems?? Ehhhhhhh, ahhhhh no.

These fantasy trade proposals that will never ever happen is irritating.

be easy allan, i think t-mac back problems takes a healing turn for the best once he is playing orange and blue

Sorry Bobby but that ain't happening... T-mac is injury-proned and @ 27 yrs of age this coming may, he won't get any better with this back problem..

you people kill me with all them trade proposals particularly for a scorer.. We don't need any more scorers.. we can score the basket. We're averaging 96 pts per game. We just can't play defense.. It's time to acquire veteran role players that would definitely fit into Larry's system especailly in the defensive end...
