I think nate is going to be the one to go, not crawford, just because of size issues. Are we really going to have a backcourt of 6'2 Marbury, 6'3 Francis, 5'7 Nate, and 6'1 Earl? I wanna see nate stick around but he won't play at all if we get watson, Q rich will take the reamining minutes at guard. What about a deal like nate/crawford/lee for rashard lewis/ reggie evans? i know it's giving up a lot of youth but lewis is young, then we can at least have a big front court, and Q rich playing the backup 2-guard.

If Isiah moves Francis in the next 23 hours or so he could go to Denver with Q or Jamal for Martin, Nene & Watson (which works under the cap).

they're having a press conference at 530pm today so the chances of him being moved tomorrow are now significantly less. no need for a press conference if he's gonna get moved within 24 hours.

Personally, I'm happy with the deal and excited to see Stevie play with Marbury and the Knicks.

I'm more afraid of getting K-Mart than anything else at this point, and think the deal I mentioned is pretty ludacris, if it happens, for both teams. That would be a MUCH bigger risk than the deal we just made with Orlando.

Thanks dj, I did not know that. Sounds like Stevie is staying. The question now is who's next? I agree with you (I think who said this) that we now have a glut of guards, none of which are authentic old school PG's. This is not necessarily a bashing of our players, but what's gonna happen here?

If no moves are made, you have to expect Jamal to get most of the minutes as the 3rd guard (which is what I think Isiah had always envisioned Craw as when we acquired him), and Q to play minutes as a defensive stopper at SF, backing up Rose. Nate, goes to the bench and gets to develop in practice trying to guard Franchise & Steph, which should be a good way to hone his defensive skills, at least, of which he has good potential in.
