Once again Curry finishes a game with more fouls and turnovers than rebounds assists and blocks combined.

hey, maybe the Marbury guy you hate so much might make a difference. might help to have a PG around.

down 8 points, nate pulls up for a jumpshot with nobody back and 20 on the shot clock. then craw tries a crazy alley oop. then nate is spinning in the lane without rhyme or reason. no wonder lb keeeps asking for a point guard. yikes.

these guys cant do the same thing for 2 qtrs in a row. The coach isnt on the floor.

My god... who do you guys want to coach? Chaney, Lenny, Herb, Larry Brown and each sucks worse than the next. Half these guys know they are toast... of this I have no doubt.

Hopefully they find happy basketball homes where the coach doesnt demand effort, defense, passing, rebounding or taking care of the ball.

This is like the Zeke is okay because Layden was so bad argument - it makes no sense.

LB demands those things - great. The problem is HOW he demands it and how he reacts - by benching players for ticky tack mistakes.

Wilkens did a good job here, he made the playoffs with a junk squad and had the next year's team at 16-13 before Houston, Craw and Nazr suffered various injuries. And there was a lot less finger-pointing.
and for the first time in 30 years of coaching the HOW is suddenly a problem. This is the part I cant swallow. I'm sorry but I'm not down with this. The vast majority of our non-rookie players have experienced extensive losing through out their careers.

As for the 16-13 we had the easiest shedule in the NBA up until that point. The injuries are overrated. Its an excuse. The only thing consistant with these players is no matter where they are they lose game in large amounts.

Now we have a guy that benches them for their crap play and its the coaches fault. Not for me... sorry

Wheres Jalen?

i think alot of it has to do with some sort of showcasing. as crazy as it sounds, he has to give some players some minutes leading up to the deadline. i think once the deadline passes, it will look a little different.

You're kidding me, right? First time in 30 years? He's left every job he's ever had after three or four years and every time it's the same story - the players are sick of his demands, his lineup changes, his grating style. I'm not saying he's asking for the wrong things, it's how he asks for them. His MO is he pisses off players and causes discontent wherever he goes. Usually it comes with wins so teams will put up with it for three years or so.

And yeah, injuries are an excuse, but unless you're an elite team they determine how the season goes. You think the Rockets would be 20-30 without injuries? You think the Pacers would be .500 without injuries? How has Memphis looked since Damon Stoudamire went down? They play a part in how a season rolls for mediocre teams. I'm not saying we aren't mediocre at best, but they play a part. So does a coach doing a crappy job.

David Lee would play at least 25 minutes a night.

Without Marbury it's going to be ugly no matter what, but it makes no sense to demand effort and then bench your best rebounder and best effort player.

Maybe, but to write off a 23 year old Curry is ridiculous.

Houston won't be ready for him. That's some great coaching. I bet David Lee gets an assist in these last two minutes. No Knick on the team has more than two tonight. It's so smart to save one of your best passers and rebounders on the bench until you really need him in the last two minutes.
