I believe in Marbury, Curry and Frye and to a lesser degree Lee
So do I. I actually like most of the players IT has brought in, I just think we overpaid in almost every scenario. You look at each deal individually and most are pretty good on paper. Look at our roster right now and you say holy freakin mess batman. Part of that has to do with overpaying for guys you like and not having a plan. Most of these trades Isiah upgraded the talent, but has thus far failed miserably to build a team.

Fish, the bottom line is this deal is better for the Knicks than no deal. And I'll take that. What we could or couldn't have gotten from Toronto is speculative and to Isiah's credit, the deal was on the table for over 5 months. The risk is that the deadline comes and goes with no deal in what remains a missed opportunity. If Isiah kept bargaining with no result, that is definitely a blunder. The trade is mutually beneficial and the argument that Toronto makes out better has validity, but if we improve with respect to the 28 other teams in the league, thats a step up, not a step down.

Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

And not Denver's pick:
http://www.hoopshype.com/salaries/toronto.htm

We just set them up to have $20mm in cap space. Read Stein's article. They will be in incredible position. They will have a new GM. They have a good young frontcourt. They can sign Nene at center, resign James if they want or throw bigtime money at Jason Terry and Kareem Rush.

Once again we did a MONSTER favor for another franchise that no other team in the NBA was willing to do.

Some will look at this deal and say we got a good saavy veteran scorer and a pick for a guy that hasnt helped us all year anyway and was gone. Thats 100% true and I agree. Regardless this trade DOES benefit us. But have no doubt we overpaid AGAIN and should have taken their unprotected #1. At the worst we could have swaped the Spurs for their #1. Instead we get something in the 20s. I'm sorry but its weak.

wow, RAPS pick was NEVER on the table. NEVER

Be happy we got anything for AD, remember how there were many who thought we should just waive him or buy him out initially since he didn't want to be here..."this ain't charity."
