I just hope crawford's foot injury doesn't become a problem again. reportedly it started acting up again, and he is probable for friday's game.

Nothing major happened to the Knicks, Nazr tweaked his groin and Allan Houston's cameo ended and the season went into a tail spin.

That seems pretty major to me. Also don't forget that JC got injured forcing AH to play way more than he wanted to.

yeah, the East is wretched. Milwaukee is going to struggle without TJ Ford. Orlando sucks. Washington has serious issues. Chicago has issues. Who knows whether Indiana will make a trade of Artest that makes them better this year or sets them up for next year? Philly is decent, but we beat them when we weren't even playing that well. Charlotte and Toronto, well, I hope the Knicks are better than those teams. Though I am interested to see how we match up with Toronto.

I think the Knicks would be right there for the last playoff seed now if LB hadn't been fcking around so much trying to play broke-down players and not taking advantage of the Knick's athleticism.

They need to push the ball more and take advantage of the youthful legs and the speed/dribbling ability of the guards.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

My point about last season was, though there were injuries, they weren't really major. Craw and Nazr only went down for a few weeks a piece. Small injuries can seriously tip the direction of a season for any team.

I agree that Larry cost them plenty of games early on. I have no idea why Lee went inactive and played so sparingly early on. I have no idea why the lineup has been so inconsistent. As long as the lineup makes sense and stays healthy and plays hard I think we have a great shot at the playoffs. I really hope they make it. I can't wait to see ESPN have to backtrack from calling them the worst team in the league, blah blah, blah.

Craw's injury last year was very costly. It correlated with the time we started losing, and when he came back he wasn't really as good as before the injury (for whatever reason).

Indy is too injury prone.

Philly has one of the best starting 5's in the league. Billy King will make a move for a suitable back-up to C-Webb.

And theres always a suprise entry into the play-offs. J-Rose at the deadline may net a clam holding the pearl to propel T-Dot to 36-37 wins and the last spot.

so, you say Toronto, I say New York. And I'm not sold on Philly either.

We'll have to see how Toronto and New York matchup. They have four games against each other, which will have a big impact on where each team finishes.

there are so many teams that are bunched together. usually around february, some teams start to break away from the pack. hopefully everything said about lb's teams are true...start out ugly, start to get it midway through, then really take off after the all star break. if that's the case, and we already hit our low point at 7-21, then we have a LEGIT shot at making the playoffs.
